It's stated "nostalgia", and for that I seem to get a lot of memory vibes from the original title just like you - maybe it's because it's the first game most of us played?

That reminds me, my dad's also a big fan; I remember him often asking me for help on some of the bosses in Gateway to Glimmer tongue
