Skateboarding...?

I think it would be a good idea to make a Sppyro Skateboarding game. Does anyone else agree?

I loved that skateboarding section in spyro 2 or whichever game it was.

It was Spyro 3 that had the skateboarding. Insomniac was so cool....

They will never make a skateboarding game after LoS. It just wouldn't fit the theme.

in my opinion i would say i dont know because well the skateboarding got kinda boring after a while but it would be alright to see it and play it (if there was one) considering i love the spyro games

Unless they could really update, the Spyro Skateboarding game would be too simple and the gameplay would be too shallow. But it's not like I didn't like it as a minigame!=)

The skateboarding segment in Year of the Dragon was neat, but with some personnel around here feeling uptight over various radical departures from the standard adventure aspects of the game (read: Spyro Orange), I don't think sports-like spin-offs are the way forward here.

i would love to see a spyro sk8boarding game i am a big fan of skateboarding and spyro so if they put the two together my dreams would come true if there was a spyro skateboarding game. but looks like i will just have to do with the skateboarding bits on spyro 3. lol

Would be a pretty cool idea, I think. I'm a big fan of the Tony Hawk VG series and to combine skating with the dreamy levels of Spyro 1 and ETD (and new ones, ofcourse big_smile ), that would be a dream-come-true for me!

YES! There really should be a game where you do nothing but crash into hunter on purpose by use of a skateboard! I would play it.

Lol. If it was parodying Tony Hawk, I think the level goals would be like this:

[] = Example to TH goals (this example is pretty much taken fro Tony Hawks' Pro Skater 2)

50 Gems [High Score]
80 Gems [Pro Score]
140 Gems [Sick Score]
Collect S-P-Y-R-O [instead of S-K-A-T-E]
Destroy 3 Treasure Containers [3 Items goal]
Find 5 Dragonflies [5 Items goal which opens up a secret area]
Find the Purple Orb [Secret Tape]
Jump the hole in the course's Loop [Exclusive Level Goal]
Lip on the gate to knock it to the ground breaking it and revealing a water section. [Trick Goal]
Flame the Grassy Fences [Another 5 Items goal]
Find Moneybag's Secret Stash [100% Money & Goals]

if it wouldn't all be skateboard parks. like if it had those areas where you race other people on skateboards as well as the parks.

yeah that would be cool as well. And the parks and race tracks would have to be spyro themed, instead of just random parks that dont have anything to do with spyro because if they didnt it would be really bad

Ah, I get ya. The racing parts would be kinda like just one really long level like Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3's "Downhill" level on PS1 and N64 smile

I have a whole lot of skateboarding games and a spyro one would be so cool!!!! you could make tricks worth lots of points by flaming rails then grinding on them. or flying off your skateboard while in the air and landing back on it. that game would be awesomely awesome!!!!
