Release date information

I e-mailed Fumie from Velvet Octopus and asked about the release date, and if there was any information available.

They replied saying it's still in early production stages and won't be ready for 2009. So I'm thinking Spring/Summer 2010?

Awww come on I cant that long! I'll probaly be an old lady by the time it comes out (not really!). Like as I said before in some topic, it has a long way to go, and I actually cant believe it!

Good animation takes a long time to do, think about pre-production and so on on top of that! I'm glad it'll be a while before it's released, only because it gives them time to make a good job of it than release a mediocre attempt on a rushed deadline.

Films are normally in production years before they're released, even if they've been announced for some time.

I'm starting to think that this movie is not going to happen because the fact that there is not much evidence to prove the movie and so on. But I will take this back if there is more evidence provided.

I've found out recently it will be around Christmas of 2009. I wish someone would just build a dang time machine already so I can go forward in time to when the movie is done and in theaters. I wonder when they'll start showing advertisments for the movie?

It better, cause I've been waiting for a movie of some sort since I first played a spyro game, Ripto's Rage, and I was like, seven? Yeah. I am as anxious as I was to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Let's hope I ain't as disapointed. I was disappointed with Eragon too. And this Spyro movie will be from the creators of Eragon. Run for the hills.

If there going to take that long to make the movie then i think it should be good. Id rather have them take there time and make a good movie instead of rushing it and making a bad one. AWe dont want another Enter the dragonfly now do we?

Eragon wasn't that bad was it? Yeah, compared to the book it was sh*thouse, but it still as a whole wasn't bad.
