Re: Poll: Music
Ach, I hail from gud auld Holland, me auld cully. Rotterdam, Holland tae be precise-like. *sigh* Ah, I wish we could make our own Spyro game. A GBA one is quite possible since ye need sprites but a PS consoled one would be much 'arder since it's 3-D rendered, do ye not think? Making aur own music would be sorta easy too ah think. Wot say you guys?

Re: Poll: Music
Hurricos_McBreixo, GBA programming is WAY harder then you think it is (By reading your post). Its all done in C, and C is pretty complicated, even for me.

Re: Poll: Music
At least it's better than being a "tail for the ages".
Still, the Spyro series in general had some really nice music. And my appreciation for the series' music seems to reflect my appreciation for the games as they came through.
I'm with most of you saying that Stewart Copeland did some of the best stuff, though I managed to find a lot of the stuff set for Year of the Dragon more listenable outside the game than some of the other tracks across the other games. But if I need to mention some particular favorites among the console titles, I'll state them here -
Spyro the Dragon: Icy Caverns (or whatever that icy place was in the Peace Keepers world), Gnasty's Loot, Gnasty's World (quite a lot of Gnasty here that's for sure >.>)
Gateway to Glimmer: Gulp's Overlook, Gateway to Glimmer Forest, Ripto's Arena (for some reason the vocal in the version in Ripto's Rage was emitted... what the heck?)
Year of the Dragon: Buzz's Dungeon, Sunny Villa, Midnight Mountain
Enter the Dragonfly: Dragon Realms, Oasis Speedway, End Credits
(as much as I like Stewart Copeland, I think he had a few problems with his samples in this one)
A Hero's Tail: Crocodile Swamp, Dragonfly Falls (Hunter's Segment), Icy Citadel
A New Beginning: Steam Boss, Convexity, Credits (the latter sounds possible to do an acoustic guitar rendition; might even try that)
