I've been wondering, since Hunter is coming back will some other elements from pervious games come back too? for example, the floating castles and so on in the concept art and boxart (which is lovely by the way) are really reminicent of the Dream Weavers world in Spyro 1.
just an idea.

I can't believe I never noticed that -- it really does look like Dream Weavers. Now that I think about it, the Chronicler is a bit like a Dream Weaver himself, though not as colorful. Maybe there's a connection.
Anyway, I love the cover art. Well, I think Cynder could have been given equal focus, but I'm still happy with it. It does its job well; it looks exciting and fun. I just hope Hunter's on the back. XD I would have expected the Dark Master there instead, but it looks like they've broken their trend of a portrait of Spyro on the front and him fighting the current Big Bad on the back.

Unlike Dream Weavers', it seems that flying land masses is not normal nor natural and is possibly caused by the Dark Master tearing up the world.

Wow, I really like it. It seems much better then the other covers. The other covers were kind of... Bland. Just Spyro in the middle sitting there, but now there's Cynder and a monster and a floating place. WHat if that floating place is Avalar? It doesn't seem shrouded in darkness.
Anyways, I loooove it! It's great. DotD all the way! Woohoo!
