Gem: Thanks. I come from a group of Earth-dragons which specialised in Gemstones. We know all the hidden powers they contain and the right temperatures to mould them and increase their lustre. So rock is no problem for me.

Gem: I'm not fire dragon at all, we only have fire breath because, long ago it is told, one of our ancestors begged a magician for fire-breath so that he could mine diamonds which an evil man wanted in turn for the safe return of this dragons' mate. He succeeded and the magician was so awed by his dedication that he let him keep the powers. You can guess the rest from there.
