I forgot the name of the level (sorry:mad: ) but what scared me when I was little was those plant things that came and tried to eat you when you got too close. There I was, a little kid trying to relax with some spyro, and all of a sudden like 6-8 seemingly inanimate plant monsters come and eat you! It startled me and I didn't want to go any further. I even asked my dad for help, then he pwned those monsters in like five seconds. It was scary and funny at the same time. Has anybody else gotten freaked out by a part of this game?

This level you mean is called "Misty Bog"! And this looks like a plant enemys donÂ´t scare me. I was 16 years old when I buy the Game. I had found this things more funny than scary! smile

Yeah i think its Misty Bog. Fracture Hills from Spyro 2 had plants that came and ate you as well.

You're not alone. I was freaked out when I initially encountered the dragon-eating plants in Misty Bog. Those scared me way more than the killer frogs.

And I don't think Fracture Hills had any plant-related enemies. All I recall are those big rock golems.

There was bushes and trees in Fractur Hills. The bushes could eat you. The trees sent bees on you.

Oh man, I couldn't do Misty Bog Either when I was 8! That level freaked me out a bit, So I basiclly did a Level Run, Dodging anything I could, except the Dragons. But, after Gnasty Gnorc, I wanted to get to Gnasty's Loot and I realized that I was missing gems only from Misty Bog! So of Course I went back and Sucked it up lol.

Fracture Hills I could do.

You got all the way to Misty Bog? When I was little, I couldn't even get past Toasty! o_O It was where the porthole was that scared me, nevermind the fact that I've been scared of dogs to this day...then I found the game again a year ago and started cracking up at what I was scared of. (I was scared of my own shadow when I was little...lol I was worse with other games, trust me.)

Being kinda off topic: I was also scared of the sharks in Aquatica Towers on Spyro 2 and Winter Tundra of all things.

Hahahah Misty Bog was the scariest level ever to me. xDD
I'd gotten this game when I was four or five. I went into that level and I was like "MOMMY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!". xDDDD
My mom would always help me with the game. She took over then. xDD
5-6 years later now, and I still don't like that level. xD I went on it a couple years ago again and barely made it through.
I don't think I'm going to have Misty Bog as a tutorial on my youtube. xD
Same with the Metalhead level. xDD I would usually get the dragon on that level and then exit the level right there. xDDD
I remember when I was younger I was also afraid of the pumpkin guy on Toasty. xDD Though I can deal with him now.
Fracture Hills still bugs me too, so I rushed through it a bit when I was playing Ripto's Rage yesterday.

Yeah, the trees in misty bog were scary, like those frogs. THat room swarming with all those enemies in misty bog used to freak me out. I would close my eyes and RUN IN!!
I also hated those Leg kicking guys in Treetops, the warthogs (especially the one behind the hut in beat makers homeworld), the dogs in toasty,

Oh, sorry, I read your sentence wrong. XD But, yeah there were some odd creatures in the first Spyro. When I was younger I was afraid of those big things in Alpine Ridge (Reminded me of that Show Maggie and the Ferocious Beast) Also, those wizards looked very strange and googly eyed.

The level that I used to hate for some odd reason or another when I was little was the level Jacques from Dream Weavers home world. I do not remember why I did not like it, but I think it may have been because it was so dark and confusing.
