look, its obvious that some of the gnorcs are "different" to the ones that you kill in spyro 1. By that, i mean the baloonists in spyro 1, and the carnies in dragon shores in spyro 2

I don't buy it. I don't even think the balloonists are Gnorcs. They're more like humanoid crabs, in my eyes. Even if some sources (not the games) say they are.

Look, it's not fact, it's theory. As long as people can disagree with it (and I cetainly can), then you shouldn't be saying "Look here's the theory. It's absolutely what happened".

lol, ok i agree with you on the baloonists, but still....
A.The Carnies in Dragon Shores were most defiently not any of Gnasty Gnorc's minions, they could talk unlike gnast's minions, they did more than just walk around and "patrol" (ok, not much more, but they can talk and by the looks of it have a personality), they probably werent made of gems or bubbles, the HAVE to be a different "kind" of gnorc to the ones in Spyro 1
B.hmmmmmmmm, if Gnasty Gnorc created all the gnorcs, then WHO created him, hes a gnorc, he didn't just puff out of thin air. there MUST be other "real" gnorcs around, and sources have stated that gnorcs had lived with the dragons, maybe hes the last gnorc?

Really, that's where the term "Gnorc" comes from. If that's what Gnorcs are, Gnasty could easily been the only "natural one" at that time and created a breed of artificial ones.

And do you know how many varieties of Gnorc there are? They could have been one of many chains that had the ability to talk. But why did we not see them? Well, it's possible that only a few varieties were actually made to combat Spyro.

See? You have your theory, I have mine. Neither are true, so neither should be said to be fact.

I'm back to work on the wiki a little more but - Does anyone know what species exactly the rodents are in Sunny Villa? I've seen them before, but my mind is drawing blanks. I've temporarily listed them as 'Gerbils' for now, though I'm pretty sure they aren't.

In the meantime.... Anyone wanna add some of the Season of Ice levels? I eh..... Don't play the GBA games that much. Though I can get screenshots easily for them.
Speaking of which, if there's any articles lacking images for the original PS games or GBA games, let me know.

I thoueght they were lions they all look like lions except for the mane and lions fit in with the roman theme of the level

It's just that, now they've been constantly moved around, the Wiki is starting to look a mess. There's far too many topics linking to the disambiguation page now it's a bit of a joke. Plus, Spyro series sounds better than Spyro the Dragon series, otherwise we'd have Spyro the Dragon: Season of Flame and all.
