Yeah, i cant wait for DOTD, but unless its good and it really changes my mind on the way the direction TLOS is taking, i'm afraid i'll leave spyro until the old series will be returned. Will the old Series return? Probably not, some say they will, some say they wont, some dont care, some dont even think any spyro games are going to appear. But, if the od series is to return, i have some changes in mind that will make it great!, including advancing the story.

im sorry ive been away so long ratchet... i didnt realise that with my leaving, all (2) the OMG tLoS fanboys would start attacking you with arguements which as usual have no basis or factual evidence and rather seem to rely on insulting the subject until he retaliates so they can claim that only "tLoS bashers" (people who have the nerve to like original spyro better) ever start flame wars

im just glad to see that everyone realised how out of hand things were getting and decided to stop, i like ratchet can think of some changes that would enhance old spyro, but i wish he hadnt mentioned it because its now a matter of time before someone comes in and says

OMG UR AN IDJIT OLD SPYRO ARE DEDD NOT COMIN BACK STOP STRTING FLAMEWARZ

the fact of the matter is, ratchet and myself seem to be the only 2 here who actually state out loud for all to hear that we arent overly fond of tLoS and we'd like the original brought back (or something similar) my point was, that my absense meant the 2 of them (doppel, a guy) could gang up on ratchet, ie. 2 posts to his every 1, now it doesnt really matter since an intelligent person readin through the posts can see that neither doppel or a guy had any valid point behind their arguments besides "harhar you suck at TEN and the game you love is nevar coming back" and id hardly call that valid

also, im sick of this term, "tLoS bashers" its bull, we dont bash anything, at least not anymore (i cant speak for any of ratchets posts prior to my arrival) what we do say is that we have a preference for what spyro used to be, and that tLoS doesnt have any of the features that made spyro a good game originally, i have never said its a bad game, and i wouldnt because ive never played it, but i know what the gameplay/levels/characters are like and thus make my judgements based on that

its a bit sad in my opinion thatsome people cant seem to accept that there are people out there who dont think tLoS is the saviour of spyro games

Because:

1. You CAN'T go back to the past. Replacing something new with an old one is like replacing your current computer with an 8080.

2. The producers like the TLoS direction, so definitely he isn't going back to the wrong way.

3. The fans of Spyro (including me) have grown up and like more action oriented games. For a franchise to live, it must follow the fans.

4. Will they go back to the originals because of a small group of people? Boo-hoo! I'm going to cry... NOT! Majority WINS!

Yeah! Like how most of the Spyro fans are fans of the original 3. Spyroforum has alot more TLOS fans than original fans, but if you go away from this forum to other places, you can see what i mean.

Its funny how that "small group of people" is bigger than the TLOS lovers, so in this case, majority has lost!

that was aimed more specifically at doppel regarding his strange (yet i spose understandable) aversion to violent video games (he'smentioned in other threads that he broke a gta disc because he felt it was too violent)
