No shade, he has no attraction whatsoever to her. Why do you keep bringing that up? She served a purpose for him, that's all. He would have had her killed if he didn't need her, period.

That sounds too much like a Star Wars thing.....I say no to him being Spyro's father...since he IS dead....though he was just ressurected at the end of TEN...

Impossible. The Dark Master was sealed away and DIED thousands of years before Spyro was even born. It makes no sense.

As for the Dark Master, I came up with a backstory for him(I have a thing for writing fanfics), and I think I'll probably get to writing it sooner or later >_>.

The Dark Master isn't dead. In case you do not know, the Dark Master is the equivolent symbolically of Satan or the evil on earth. It can never be stopped, just as evil can never be stopped. The Dark Master was sealed, but is attempting to break out again, hence the point of the game. I am under the belief that he won't be killed - he can't be killed. You can't kill him no more than you can remove the evil out of everyone's hearts. Spyro will probably face him and beat him, sealing him forever. But the Dark Master and Spyro are each other's equivolents. Yin and Yang, right and wrong. One cannot outdo the other. Spyro can't destroy the Dark Master, he can only seal him away.

I reckon Spyro'll get the crap beaten out of him at the end of TDH, the Dark Master will hurt or almost kill one of those he loves, (Ignitus or Cynder) and Spyro'll get really angry, and use some massive fury that, well, pretty much vaporises the DM.
I'm probably wrong...

Considering what the Chronicler said, I think the Dark Master has the same elemental powers as Spyro, but he probably has some different moves. Maybe an Earth Ram, Fire Wings, Thunder Dive, Ice Tornado. Some uber cool stuff.

It'd be ironic if at the end we found out the Dark Master was really just misunderstood. Wasn't he shunned from the other dragons just because his power was limitless? Did it ever day he really committed any crime before he was exiled? It seems to me what he really wants is revenge for the other dragons wrongly judging him.

Or I could be totally wrong and he could be some psycho dragon with magical spoof powers.

The Dark Master-Malefore was the first purple dragon. He mastered all the elements plus new ones none thought possible. They realised the Dark Master would eventually get strong enough to control everything, so they sealed him away before he got to strong. But the Dark Master was now so powerful that he could control even hell itself to some extent. Thus he created the Well of Souls. He also built an ape army, and taught them to harnass the gems' power. Then Gaul attacked the temple and got Cynder.
Meanwhile, the Dark Master had not yet reached immortality, so he sealed himself inside Convexity and waited for Cynder to gather the power of the gaurdians. But Spyro saved everything with the Purple Fury, the only power the Dark Master didn't have (since Spyro's good, he got purple, since Malefore's bad, he got convexity). Convexity started collapsing, and the Dark Master was dead... But Gaul knew on the Eternal Night, Malefore would be back, and he returned as DARKSPYRO. But then Cynder pushed Spyro out of the way, and the Dark Master was freed. Since Malefore's much more powerfull than DarkSpyro, this proves Cynder cares for Spyro. smile 3 years later, the Dark Master is reighning supreme, and so starts Dawn of the Dragon...

I hope I got all that right... :-|

Hmmm nice theory but I don't think it's all true.

I think they managed to banish the Dark Master Malefor to the Dark realms, because they knew of his hunger for power and for control. I think it also took not only just one dragon's abilities to lock this guy away, but all 4 or 5, possibly 6. Yep that means Ignitus, Volteer, Cyril, Terrador, Spyro AND Cynder's powers will have to combine to lock this guy down once and for all.

If 6 dragons are needed that means they can't kill anyone off until he is sealed away (which I doubt would happen after he is gone). Oh *bleep* >_< I forgot the Chronicler, so they could kill someone off. sad :cries:

I think it was the Ancestors that sealed Malefore away. The Ancestors are probably purple dragons, too, that's how they overpowered him. And, since the Ancestors created the Spirit Gems and helped Spyro defeat Cynder with Purple Fury, they will probably also give Spyro a powerful fury to finish the Dark Master off.

The Ancestors couldn't be purple dragons, Malefor was the first one.

Imagine if when Spyro goes to confront the Dark master he's a tiny little dragon like Spyro with the most hilarious voice ever. XD
Maybe before you see him (Before he's all the way on-screen or w/e) You see the shadow of a HUGE dragon on the wall and the camera zooms out to reveal a small purple dragon that looks a bit like Spyro...XD
