We could actually never be sure on spyro's age for many reason including:
1.Some dragons (not many) breed out of the YOTD time period, Spyro could of been one of these dragon
2.Spyro was actually supposed to have come from an unknown land and his egg got found being stolen by egg theieves in stone hill by ragon elders (meaning that he came at random, not necesarily YOTD), some believe that the theieves had just stolen Spyro's egg from the egg batch and he hadnot come from an unknown land.
3.Dragons dont age as much as we do, so even though Spyro hada youthful appearence in the first games he could of been 24 or 36 or 60 for what we know!

Find me a reliable source to how old Spyro was and then i'll believe.

Ratchet has some good points,but in the making of spyro video they said they wanted a voice for a 13 year old,and if spyro was 60 in spyro the dragon,wouldn't the other dragons be like 1000?

According to the Spyro toys (of the newest series) handed out at Burger King, it officially stated that Spyro is 12 years old.

I'm fairly certain that in the original spyro the dragon game booklet it said he was 10

I think i read somewere that in the origanal trilogy Spyro is 12 but im not sure. I dont know about TLOS.

Yes, but different storylines = anything can change, including Spyro's age. But yes, Burger King toys said that he was 12, for sure.

They wanted a VOICE for a 13 year old, it doesn not neccearily mean that he WAS 13...
Dragons age slower than humans, he could have a 13 year old voice but be 60, 60 might seem young for dragons!

Because the charecter was created,so crash could be any age.but the game creators didn't give them an atcual age,they can aim around a certain age but they never TOLD us it

The new trilogy I'm not sure but I read that he was 12 years old. Dawn of the dragon it happens three years after ETN so that would make him 15 years old.

Makes sense. I saw a video on youtube, a guy from sierra entertainment talking about his tenth anniversery, that in DotD, he is a middle aged teenager. I ANB, he was 11. In TEN, he was 12. DotD, 3 years later. So that makes him 15. I think we just figured out the facts!
