(De)Pressing Issue - Best Compatability

This has been bugging me for some time. You see, I like the idea of compatability between fandoms, and I'm just stuck on our Friend, Spyro. You see, while he HAS had a cross-over game with Crash, as well as many cameos, I sort of don't recognise any great similarities between his universe and Crash's universe. Rayman, while being owned and made by a different company, seems more compatable, in comparison. They share the element of fantastic and exotic creatures and the concept of living things being power (Lums and Dragon eggs come to mind), just to name a couple of points.

So, what do you think?

I think Crash Bandicoot because i dontb like Rayman games and i cant think of any other fanchises that could go with Spyro.
