What ESRB descriptors would you like?
Here's what I'm going to like:
General Rating: T (Teen)
Descriptors:
Fantasy Violence: For the TLoS ways!
Mild Blood and Gore: Come on, when you whack somebody, there should be some blood for realism! Mild scenes of it only please, too much of it is just gross.
Mild Language: Minor scenes of it.

I agree with Doppel, except remove the blood and lower the rating to E 10+

Re: What ESRB descriptors would you like?
TEN was E10 for "Cartoon Violence" and "Comic Mischief". DotD will probably be the same or similar; I'd prefer something like "Mild Fantasy Violence", as to me cartoon violence implies the sort with anvils and rockets, but I don't much care what the rating says.
"True E for Everyone" is the way Spyro should be. I don't have any problem with violent video games -- I've played and enjoyed some very gory ones -- and I don't think a little bit of red when you hit an enemy is a big deal. It's just that Spyro should be accessible to all ages, and I don't understand why people are grumbling about that.
I'm a bit perplexed about the language, too.

What? My copy of TEN said PG for mild fantasy violence.
My preferance is much the same as Doppel, T for moderate fantasy violence. It deserves more than mild, and I'd like to see more gore. Not too much, considering the audience that might be playing it, but a bit.

Well, E-E10+ is probably where Spyro is suited.
I mean, come on, at least having the bad guys (and Spyro for that matter) look like they're hurt when they're close to death is reasonable. It doesn't have to be blood flying all over the place, just some visible injury.

I like the blood as long as it's not too much. But I'll admit, after playing Drakengard, I've discovered a massive bloodlust .

Heh, I don't think we'll be seeing any blood in the next game. :-P

What? My copy of TEN said PG for mild fantasy violence.
Then that's the rating it got in Australia. The ESRB, on the other hand, decided it was cartoon violence.
I just don't get why you look to Spyro of all things to satisfy your bloodlust. That's just not what Spyro's about, and never has been.

Eh, I'm weird that way . I already said, not too much blood, just a little. That way it won't disrupt people's idea of Spyro that much .

Re: What ESRB descriptors would you like?
This game was inspired by the bloodlust God of War with amazing graphics. DotD is basically a kid friendly version of GOW.

Re: What ESRB descriptors would you like?
Somewhere between "E for Everyone" and "Teen"..
The language: Well, I think just around two ""bad"" words would do a little realism, and also because I think that Cynder were used to live with those kinds who I'm sure would use bad language alot.
Blood: Hmm.. I don't have anything against it, but I don't think Spyro should turn over to a bloody game.
