Re: Razz's Art!

You are so right. I am so sorry for saying these things. Talking about feeling my own face loose its color. I was a hypocrite. Literally I was saying things that I had no knowledge over. I am surprised that you did not have me banned and sort of afraid. Letting me stay on this forum you have let me walk into your words. I am embarrassed and have no excuse for my actions. If I was you I would have caused a lot more damage. I am glad that you did not cause so much damage as I know you could have made my reputation fall through the floor.
:'(
Letting me stay on this forum has also given me a chance to repair the damage that was caused. We can never be the same way again. Yet I have lost three good friends at my careless words. Since you have not gone in detail of what I did to you I will say it to let everyone know the truth that lies in my heart let all those who once admire me come to know who I really am.
:-X
I have said many things about how people can be careless and I have said the most careless words that could be said and of all places on a forum that everyone has seen. I am a fool when it comes to making friends. I bet all those who are still wanting to be friends with me are blind and cant see that I have failed at being a person who I want to be. All I ask is if you forgive me. I know god forgives me but what I have done to you. I have probably made you the worst person who has a hand in making the forum possible. You are right that it was my own fault. The only two things I cant repair is your reputation among the forum and the creators of the forum.
:'(
They probably think of you quit differently now. What I have caused is unacceptable? It is no wonder I have so few friends. I am vary sorry and I would not blame you for banishing me. I can probably can do nothing to repair what I did. I am a perv and a hypocrite and everyone who is reading this know that what you say has its consequences. I really do admire your drawings but now I feel as if I ruined it for myself. This truly is a sore in my heart that I have no one to blame but myself. How could you think of me the same way? How could we be friends if I have insulted you so badly? I deserve every word you said and now I have to suffer because of my stupidity. Let me know If you forgive me.

Re: Razz's Art!

I do forgive you, Adam. I'm not one to hold a grudge; I don't like being angry at people.

As for anyone thinking differently of me, I don't think they will. big_smile I make it plain to all that I am an adult and a slave to my own whims and I will draw what I feel like drawing. But I do my best to keep people from seeing what they don't want to see.

I'm sorry for being so harsh with you. You hit a sore spot, I confess, but I'm willing to drop all of this. I would never ban you for being opinionated. You have a right to say what you feel, though that may bring about consequences.

So, yeah. Don't beat yourself up over this. Just re-read your posts before you post them if you feel unsure about what you're saying.

Re: Razz's Art!

Your words were true. I have been a little of a hypocrite. You have taught me a lesson and i have you to thank for that. I am DragonMissioner at the Devineart.com

Wow there are people who use cuss words. Don t worry my dad cusses at me when ever he has a short fuse. The good thing is that he never yells at me without reason and when i fail to see his short fuse i get cussed at. He apologizes just like you did. To tell you the truth i feel sorry for him and anyone else who makes so many mistakes. I have made many mistakes myself and know how it feels when guilt hits.

You were right to say those things. A little sketchy i admit but it brought one of my biggest meeknesses to my attention. Before i even can give a good impression i often screw up my words. That is why i love to write for it is the only place that i can keep the words strait.

You said that i have no art in my Devin art gallery. Well that is a funny story. It was only a week or so ago that i started and wanted to figure the website out before i post anything. That and my scanner is on the fritz still trying to get it to work. I learn at a slow pace but am gifted with a mind that can understand the complex circuitry of robots.

I bet you had hard times with your computer as well. I did not take your comment from Devin art too seriously because of the trouble i am having with my scanner. Go look at my art again two days from now and i should have art posted by then. I let you know when I posted several things for I finished several already just need to get my scanner working.

Re: Razz's Art!

I see your art Hail The Ice Dragon and by the way i see it your off to a grand start. I seen your gallery and Devin art page and got to say your good with proportion. I see that you like using printer paper. It does not smear as easily as the heavy sketch book paper that has rigid tooth. Tooth is good when you are patent because it can drive you crazy. So it is good that you started out with printer paper.

It takes time and practice. Ask Razz she probably could tell you a lot about devotion to art. I see her art and see that she has not given up. I see that you have a honest heart to me i am still picking through my artwork to see witch would be best to up load first.

I am having trouble with my scanner and was told that i have not posted any art on my page. I thank them for noticing. Its a joke. I am going to keep trying to post more. Still trying Razz so i will let you know when my art is posted. The more expensive your scanner the more frusterating it is.

Yes. She has colored stuff in there, I believe.

Re: Razz's Art!

To answer a few questions:

Yes, I do colored work, but rarely since it takes a lot of time and I don't have much fun doing it. A lot of my stuff is coloring-book style line art, though. And a lot of stuff I post is pen sketches that I do for fun and practice.

I was using copy paper for almost all of my work up until last week. I have re-discovered professional art supplies (Micron pens! Prisma markers! Joy!) and started drawing on cardstock paper. I am in love. XD

I have seen your art, Hail, and I like it. smile You've got a good start going and, if you're having fun, I think you should keep it up. smile

And here's some artsey back story for the curious. I did my very first drawing when I was four (it was a diagram of the human heart...yeah, I was an odd kid, too XD). When people paid attention to me for drawing (something I am positive no one ever thought I could do), I kept doing it and decided I liked it and I've been drawing ever since. Twenty-two years later, after a lot of cartoon watching and staring at animals, I am where you see me today. big_smile The difference between good artists and mediocre ones is simply a matter of practice. If your patient and you keep at it long enough, you'll get better. smile

Re: Razz's Art!

Microns are a type of professional inking pen. If I remember right, the ink is powder-based and is meant to be archival quality. They are wonderful things, regardless.

Re: Razz's Art!

If you cant sketch than you cant draw. me i tilt my pencil so the line is not embeded in the paper so its really easy to erase and shade over the accedental. You are right drawing over pencil lines is fun but it is unforgiving when it comes to mistakes. Pen cant erase.

As for color drawing i don't like to do much since you cant erase hardly at all. Any advice on that. Acrylics are expensive but i find them cheaper at the store if you buy them in one pack but if you have the money you can buy alt of them for a better price on the Internet.

Remember the number one rule practice makes perfect. Razz i herd you have a tutorial on your site and i want to get more detailed with other ways to draw dragons. I am open minded and would like to learn how you like to draw. I think the fawn also would be an interesting pic to learn. In the past i noticed people who draw anime do swell with the hips.

Like i said in my private post never was against the fact that you made the hips large. Tell me did you get the pm for it asked me to log back in several times and it did not let me have what i said back to attempt at posting it again. So I retyped the response several times sorry if it is a little hard to read. I have told the moderators about it and i will look back after a good amount of time passes.

Re: Razz's Art!

To Adam: I've got a tutorial here, in Spyro Pictures, entitled "How to Draw Spyro" that shows my entire process. The things I do in that tutorial and the Cynder one later down the page are the way I draw everything.

Also, I avoid erasing my pencil lines until I've started inking, and sometimes not even then. big_smile I've learned over the years to work with my mistakes or ignore them. The eraser is only there to make the finished line work prettier. Most of the time, I do my sketches in Bic pen.

I was shocked when I saw that rude comment on your how to draw Spyro thread. Don't listen, I love your art! I think everything you draw is really cool!

Re: Razz's Art!

We're already past that, Cynder.

Razz, didn't you say that you've worked for Disney before? If so, how did that influence your drawing style and overall outlook of art?

Re: Razz's Art!

Aww, thanks Cynder794. smile

Bmah: Ahaha! I knew this day would come! XD Yes, I have worked for Disney, but not in the capacity you think. I was an attractions hostess at Animal Kingdom as part of the Disney College Program. I did almost have a chance to meet the guy who created Lilo and Stitch, but I totally blew it. That was as close to any animators I got there.

But the old Disney cartoons themselves have probably had an influence on my art. Their contributions aren't as great as those of 80s cartoons, but I've always loved the quality of the Disney films.
