The producers of LoS, Mike Graham and Chris Wilson, have confirmed that it is a complete series reboot and has absolutely nothing to do with the any of the older Spyro games. As I recall, the point of CrashPro's timeline was to connect the two series. That has now become a moot point since the people who make the game have said they are not connected in any way.
