Re: the spyro game timeline

What's this supposed to be again?  What kind of Spyro timeline?

There are two kinds of people in the world.  We have those who need a life, and then we have those who are dead already.

Re: the spyro game timeline

Eugh. There is no timeline connecting LoS with the old games. It is official: LoS is a total series reboot. Man, I'm getting sick of saying that. >(

Re: the spyro game timeline

Sure I do. big_smile Think of it as payback to all the people who ruin mine. big_smile

I don't care if anyone wants to connect the games on their own time for fun. That's what alternate universes are for. I'm just getting sick of everyone trying to connect them and claiming it's official when it is not. It has been announced by the series' producers and writers, Mike Graham and Chris Wilson, that LoS is a total series reboot and has nothing to do with the older games. People can pretend all they want, but there it is, straight from the creators' mouths.

[sub]Um, I don't really think that particular video is supposed to be connecting anything; it's just a collection of videos from past games. =/

Even if it was another attempt to connect the two series, let them try; it's not hurting anyone. I mean, some of the "theories" out there do make sense, even if the developers don't see it that way. [/sub]

Re: the spyro game timeline

I dunno. You'd be surprised at how rude and hurtful some of the Spyro timeline people can be. I already said above that I don't care if people want to do this for fun, I just want them to stop saying it's official, because it isn't. Meh.

Re: the spyro game timeline

[sub]Fair enough, but it's still just a collection of clips of different Spyro games, nothing to do with connecting anything as far as I can tell. I actually watched the video before commenting, see. =3[/sub]

Re: the spyro game timeline

Ouch. I actually was referring this whole time to the title of the post, which suggests that the person who posted the video thinks that the clips were supposed to be a timeline. It was this that I have been addressing.

Re: the spyro game timeline

[sub]Oh, I see. I took it to mean "timeline" as in how Spyro has changed over time, not how they connect together. They're just videos randomly put together....[/sub]

Re: the spyro game timeline

I Watched the time line of all of them, the LOS is a remake unlike the Crash series which are still within their time line. I wish is was different but it isn't. Besides the Series needed a remake I think the producers where having a hard time with the storyline after Hero's tale I belive

Re: the spyro game timeline

It's fun to try to connect the old games with LoS, but ultimately, it just doesn't work. There's really no way to sanely go from "Doom, doom, doom!" to "Hey, guys! Let's play some cat hockey!". XD
