well he has to have parents he cant just magically appear in mid-air, he has to have parents, i think his parents will be the ones he least expects to be his parents.........

I do think Ignitus is a likely candidate, but I don't think some female character we've never met up till now will be revealed as Spyro's mother. She's probably dead.

The thing that bugs me about this "Spyro's true parents" craze is that it completely ignores his adoptive family. Ignitus is certainly a father figure to Spyro whether they're actually related or not, but he shouldn't replace the dragonflies who raised him. Yes, the Ignitus-Spyro bond is great, but where's the love for the one he calls Dad?

I just don't see Ignitus as Spyro's father, in my opinion.
I think that the Dark Master might be his dad, though.
If not, they did say their population got wiped out, it's possible that his parents died...?

Spyro's mother is most likely to be dead as sad as that may be... Either Ignitus knows something about her or he is Spyro's father.

OMG LOL!!! XD But I still think Ignitus is his father. Think about it... They have the same horns, and I made this observation, they walk the same, and they are both naturally Fire dragons.

TECHNICLY THATS NOT TRUE. IN THE TEMPLE ALL THE EGGS WERE LAID BY THE SAME DRAGON MOTHER. SO "IGGY" LIED TO SPYRO. CYNDER AND SPYRO ARE BROTHER AND SISTER!

Okay here's a lil something.

To whomever said that Malefor is Spyro's father, let's just hope you're wrong!! But at the same time I had a bit of a flash back to the movie Star Wars, why? Well we know Malefor = Mark Hamill = Luke Skywalker from Star Wars .. we might have this "Darth Vader" effect going on here ... lol don't mind me ... just a weird crazy idea I had ..

In actual fact I do think Spyro's real dad is indeed Ignitus, several points, well the way they walk could be possibly one of them, but look atop Spyro's head, don't they look like tiny flames, and including the tip of his tail ... the way a candle is lit .. Spyro being the "light" in the darkness that will help guide the rest of the dragons through into the Dawn Of The Dragon(s).

Toss the idea of Spyro and Cynder being blood brother and sister completely in the trash can ... yes they're the same age .. doesn't necessarily mean Cynder is Spyro's lil sis .. there's been post after post debunking that particular theory ..

I'd just as soon comment wait until the game comes out, play it, enjoy it for what has to offer you, and then all will be revealed during the course of the game and right at the end .. and we'll see what happens!

No one cares about the mobile version of the game when they said they were brother and sister. Sierra confirmed that they are not related.
