Re: Spyro the Dragon Japanese Version

It's because easier to get the female voice than a child. And very often childs are voiced by females. Besides, spyro isn't voice like child in orginal series o0" i think some between 15 or 18 years old? xD

Re: Spyro the Dragon Japanese Version

o_O Nope hate his voice.
Besides the other dragons I'd have to mute the TV so I wouldn't hear Spyro's voice so I prefer Carlos Alazraqui's voice.

Yeah and I agree that the higher jumping could make things easier.
Though I don't mind the camera angle.

Re: Spyro the Dragon Japanese Version

Yeah, I much prefer the English version.

Reasons:

1. Signs seem annoying and do not fit.
2. Sparx stays green.  (Hard to tell what life you are on.)
3. Camera angles get VERY annoying.  (Especially when charging.)
4. It does that weird camera when you go from room to room, such as with a whirlwind.  (Just seems odd for Spyro.)
5. Spyro's voice and constant noises are VERY annoying.  (They do not fit in like a lot of things in this game.)
6. And the Dragon voices do not seem right.  (Not just because they are in Japanese...  XD)
7. Also, the text of the names of the places you are going to look cartoony and do not fit in.

Most of the reasons why I do not like this game is because most of the things that are different between this version and the English version do not feel right and seem to fit in with Spyro's games.

Oh yeah, and the higher jump is something that could make the game easier, but not really.

Re: Spyro the Dragon Japanese Version

I feel special. That's my video. XD

You don't jump any higher, that's the normal jump, but the camera is zoomed really far-out.

The camera is the biggest issue. It skips whirlwinds because of the camera.

Signs aren't too bad. Just don't flame them. They do give you an overview in Spyro 2 for orbs, I believe.

You have to pay attention to Sparx. Green means he's healthy, Green means you took a hit, and when he turns Green, he's one more hit from gone. (Actually he has golden sparkles around him for Yellow, Blue, White and Red particles if he's been hit, and no sparkles if he has on hit left).

I downloaded that off of the Japanese PlayStation Store if anyone was wondering.

Re: Spyro the Dragon Japanese Version

I'd love to own the Japanese versions of these games some day but I don't see that happening.
