Should Krome Studios continue to Make Spyro Games or should he be sent to other companies?
Recently, most of the members compained about several things when Krome Studios made the new Game "TLoS: AnB"
-Starting from the beginning (Only main focus on Spyro [The Rest= Poof!]
-The look of his young age disgusts players, even though its "A New Beginning"
-The "moving around world" did not appear in it.
-A couple of bugs + Glitches
Should Krome Studios continue to make Spyro or should he be sent to other companies?

I've given them a chance. While I don't hate LoS, it just wasn't a Spyro game. Insomniac was better.

Re: Should Krome Studios continue to Make Spyro Games or should he be sent to other companies?
insomniac was the best
why are they not making any more?
it doesn't make sense to have sold spyro off when that was their biggest profit
and i dont know of any other games they have created!

They wanted to just do a trilogy. They probably figured that they might as well make some extra money and sell the rights after they were done.

Re: Should Krome Studios continue to Make Spyro Games or should he be sent to other companies?
Actually, its a tad bit more complicated then you would think. The fourth game in the series, which everyone knows was as buggy as hell and had more glitches then you could count, was started by Insomiac Games not by Check Six Studios and Equinoxe Entertainment. Take a good look at the graphics of Spyro 4 aka Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and think very carefully. The two companies that work together on completing the game took the original incomplete work from Insomiac Games. That is correct... Spyro 4 started out as an Insomiac Games game for Playstation One. That is why the graphics weren't improved for the PS2 debut.
Also there is the fact that the game was still being developed and worked on. This game was suppose to be the final Playstation One Spyro game but things happened and as a result it became the First PS2 Spyro game. The shift from the PS1 to the PS2 hardware put the development of Enter the Dragonfly on hold so Insomiac Games could adjust to the new PS2 hardware but of course Universal was in a hurry and thus fill in the rest of the blanks on what happened.
Insomiac Games DIDN'T leave this franchise because they wanted to. The reason is tad more compicated then that. True, they did it want to try their hands at creating other games but the whole 'Insomiac Games sold the rights to Spyro' is not entirely accurate or true. If you want to point the finger at anyone for the sorry shape of the fourth game in the series then look no further then in Universal 's direction. They are the ones who were and still responsible for the publishing, distrubution and funding of each installment of the Spyro series. In other words Insomiac Games got stuck between a rock and hard place when it came to them dealing with Universal. Also, remember it was around this time that Vinde aka V. took over Universal. Which pretty much set into motion the current situation that our poor little purple dragon now finds himself stuck in.
So while Insomiac Games has indeed moved on to bigger, bolder projects they still remember Spyro. I believe it has more to do with the fact that they are just too busy and haven't been given the opportunity to return to the franchise that they started. How do I know all this you ask? Well, I do have a friend who works at Universal. She has some contacts that she talks to every now and then. I don't have all the details true but I know enough from the evidence that we have all seen. Spyro 4 looked like a Playstation One game because it was SUPPOSE to be one.
Ladies and Gentlemen, greed and stupid decision making on the part of Universal Games, not Insomiac, is why we got cursed with a deeply flawed project that was completed by two inexperienced companies that were literally brought in to finished the game at the last minute. Insomiac had put the project on hold to learn how the PS2 hardware worked and so that they could fully update their game making software/3d engine to work on the new system. Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly was only 50 percent done when the project was shifted over from the PS1 to PS2. The remaining pieces of the game were thrown together using the code and programming that Insomiac had done. They had not finished everything... hell they hadn't even got far enough to do all the tests they usually did. They did a few tests here and there and that is the only reason the game was even remotely playable. If they hadn't done THOSE minor tests then the game would have had even worst glitches and bugs. So at least they did contribute something to the final Spyro game they started work on.
Also, take a glance at the storyline strutcture of the Rachet & Clank games... hmm... seem kinda familiar doesn't it. The Spyro franchise was their baby and they didn't leave it because they wanted to it was more along the lines of business politics and corporate greed/marketing that led to what happened.

Re: Should Krome Studios continue to Make Spyro Games or should he be sent to other companies?
well that explains why my the x files :resist or serve is so buggy
vivendi made that!
consequences of vivendi making a game:
poor graphics
the sound disappearing from the movies telling the STORYLINE
areas DISAPPEARING!!!
and that is just the begginning!

Ahhh, so they couldn't work out the bugs in time. How doese it look like a PS1 game, though? I thought the engine they used was different, slightly. That could possibly just be the fact that universal modified Spyro's core Engine and sent it out. Also - that would explain ALOT of the Glitching problems. basicly, we were handed an incomplete game, odd, I bet Spyrorocks could haxxor it if he had the ability

I'm going to have to agree with SS and SR. Give Krome another chance. I really like ANB, pretty addictive, and I did like Spyro's appearance in the game. So yeah, I'm giving them another chance.
