I'm kind of unimpressed. Someone doesn't know how to animate personality on to Spyro and Cynder's expressions, and what's with the cheesy dialogue? sad Even Hunter, as much as I'm dissappointed at his completely new character, (is he even the same character?) looks better. Who decided to put small realistic eyes on to Hunter, but not Spyro?

I guess we are all entitled to our own opinions, but I for one was very impressed, and loved the expressions on their faces, and I really loved Hunters blue eyes! Very nice though, I'm looking forward to the game! big_smile

It's your opinion, though. I thought he was cool the way he was in the old games, even A Hero's Tail. Here, maybe he's cool, but it's not the same character. Fixing what isn't broken and all that jazz.

Insert the customary "w00t trailer!" and "w00t Hunter!" here.

Funny that after all my anticipation of both things, I'm not spazzing out here. It's not even that I'm underwhelmed by the result -- I'm completely, uh, whelmed. That is, the trailer meets my expectations and I'm completely satisified with it, but you know how the anticipation of something can be more exciting than the thing itself.

It's also funny (to me) that my only beef with the new Hunter is that he looks like a cross between a serval and a tiger, anything but a cheetah. Other than that...well, he looks smexy and he still has blue eyes, everything I could have hoped for. XD

I don't really get the complaints about Hunter's personality being completely different, because...so is Spyro's. c.c Does anyone complain about that? I'm sure they do, because they complain about everything, but I never see it. I guess everyone got it all out long before I came here. I've had my share of frustration over it myself, but at this point I recognize that it's par for the course. This is LoS, and all bets are off.

I know I've mentioned this to a friend who asked the same question, but it's mostly because, well, it sounds a little harsh, but Spyro's there as the cash cow. Not that I don't dislike his new personality either way, if there even is one. It just seems logical that in the process of trying to make Spyro as appealing as possible to the audience because he's the main character, they mess up and make him a bland mary-sue character. But that's only one theory of why he turned out that way, so I digress...

I only have to assume Hunter was brought back to please the older fans, yet they couldn't even keep true to something as simple as what kind of animal he was? It just seems kind of dumb to me that they couldn't just have made a new character with a different name instead of saying, "hey kids, remember Hunter? From the old games? HE'S HERE," and then leaving us going "where?" and looking around like lost puppies while some serious-looking bobcat thing with small eyes stands in front of us.

THATS Hunter?!?! Wow! You're right Epesi, he does look like a serval. That's okay with me, though. Servals are my favorite animals. ^_^

And at 0:18 you can see Ignitus standing behind Spyro!

It's too bad that you don't get to see Malefor at all. Just The Golem. sad Oh well. It's still an amazing trailer!

Does anyone have the original source of this trailer, as in "not the YouTube knock off"?

I had an initial moment of spazz, and then Deep Voiced Narrator started and I couldn't stop laughing. XD Hunter is awesome, but that line...! I'm looking forward to this whole thing; the gameplay looks fun and bright colors always win me over. Also, I have my fingers crossed for an Elora cameo. big_smile

I shall refrain from speaking about AHT since I am very biased about that game (as in, I hate it and the fact that there is a worse Spyro game out there makes me want to cry).

Haha, I especially enjoyed this line "team up and fly anytime as living breathing weapons of explosive destruction." I mean that does sound pretty awesome but still...!!

Dang!!! woah!! wicked!!

Two things I found out in the trailer and in a new screenshot. The trailer shows very close similarities of battle fields in Lord of the Rings 2 and 3. And the lava monster, wow!
Hunter's face and some other people that look like him look like ancestor's to ratchet?
