That seriously didn't sound like satire to you, though? I just called myself a tyrant and said everyone should agree with my opinion. We have to learn to laugh at ourselves. I said I liked Hunter with the hood in another post, why would I change my mind?

Also, aww, Hunter x Bianca is my second favorite Spyro pair, why would I bash it? :3

Hunter looks like my cat in this one XD My brother and I were watching the trailer and when it cut to the chort scene where he says "It begins." we were all like "Ha! He looks like Jebus(my cat)!"

In any case, I didn't want to say anything about the flying, but yeah, it's different than I expected it to be, and that flapping sound sounds like it will get annoying fast. It might depend on how much I'm into the game though. I know Banjo-Kazooie's talon trot sound annoys the people I play it in front of, but I never notice it.

...and to think I was the one that accidentally started one. I like the change they made to Spyro's eyes. I thought the human pupils on a reptile was too much cartoon looking. Then again, that would mean losing his cute look... who said he, a dragon, was suppose to be cute?

I think that everything looks good. Although I am wondering why they didn't just use an alpha texture for his fur... He would have looked better. He should stay a cheetah too.

I think hunter looks better now. Graphics are cool, but I am a bit worried about water effects... On gameplay from comic con and this it looks... Oh, I don't know... Not as good, as other things...

hey, if you ask me I like how Hunter looks.he looks really good and I like the way the made his eye's. They are AWSOME!!!!!!!!!

The legend of Spyro series are serious. so they need a more serious Hunter style in it. so they changed him a bit.
okay, I know that they still make jokes in the games, but din't we all noticed that they act more sirious about everything? I mean, we are talking about a DARK MASTER here....That's nothing what we saw in the old spyro series...

Alright, let me switch into serious-talk mode, because my point doesn't seem to be made clear. Unlike that huge paragraph, which was a joke to retaliate against the demand to "stop whining," but you people don't seem to read the rest of my posts unless there is something negative about your precious series anyway, so you get upset over nothing. Anyway...

The only "real" critique I gave Hunter was that, for the style of this game, he didn't match the look of the rest of the characters. Spyro, Cynder, Sparx, the elders... All of the main characters have these big candy cartoony eyes and really colorful designs, despite that they are made to look serious. Hunter and the rest of those cats from that screenshot, however, have a real nice realistic cat design, with the small feline eyes and everything, except it's wasted on an unmatching character environment.

Let's take Spyro, for example. It's like he couldn't decide whether to stick to looking pleasant for the kiddies and the oldies fans, or to just look like a real reptilian dragon with correct anatomy and eyes in order to match the style of the game, but still be purple and stuff to be recognizable as Spyro. Don't tell me the realism while still mainting the Spyro look isn't possible, because to a designer, nothing is impossible. Here is an example: http://zaidacrescent.deviantart.com/art … n-58251356 . It can be done. Sure, it would still be a big change that I wouldn't be happy with, but it would have certainly been less sloppy and a lot more pleasant to look at, so it would irritate me a lot less. The LoS Spyro is just a sloppy, lazy design that wasn't put forth into best effort, time, thought and review. I have heard these same critiques I am giving to this design many times for my own designs, so I know what I'm talking about. Friends, classmates and professors have critiqued my character designs over and over again harshly, until I realized why my designs were abominations and how I could fix them to make them look better.

So in the end, we get the DotD Spyro to end up looking like the lovechild of Gex and E.T. I've stressed this enough on other posts, but yes, it is perfectly fine for you to like the design anyway. We all can't share the same taste. But can you seriously look me in the eye and tell me that they couldn't have done way better? That they couldn't have put forth a little more effort to make Spyro the best he can be? Seriously? This is usually what upsets the old-timey fans, so I hope I gave you some insight on that.

So, about Hunter, all I said was that his design irritated me (Personal opinion, not critique.) because there was absolutely no point to changing his species. It feels to me, and to other fans of the old characters, that we're being kicked in the face by Sierra because they can't stick to something extremely simple, just this once, to please us. Imagine if Bianca suddenly was announced to show up in the game, certainly old fans of hers would be excited, I know I would, because I'm a huge Bianca fan. But then in the game, she ends up being a mouse. Yes, it's a kick to the face.

Heck, maybe they didn't change Hunter's species at all, and he's just something like an "elf cheetah" or whatever, but for now he doesn't look at all like a cheetah to me, so I have to assume they changed his species. I'm sorry if this opinion makes you mad, but it's not like it's changed my view of this game, nor is it going to stop me from playing it, nor is it going to stop Sierra from doing whatever it is they want to do. I already gave up hope on this trilogy a long time ago anyway, so nothing's changed.

Wow that's Avalar?! It looks so beautiful and I love the way Spyro and Cynder move in the air together. It doesn't bother me that they're still linked together though. yikes
