Chapter 42- Book of Cynder- The cover of the book:

Cynder hesitantly came out into the gardens once more, this time, holding a tea server in one wing and a pair of cups in the other, one of the cups being very minuscule. Cynder brought Sparx outside so they could talk in the fresh of mid-day, but she did not want to leave him out there by himself for to long, clearly aware of Sparx’s short wick due to experience.

She reached Sparx, who intolerable to wasting time, waited for her “Got the tea,” said Cynder
“Good, serve me some please,” responded Sparx
Cynder got amazed by Sparx at that moment, a sign of mannerism from him was as rare as finding a black star in the day sky, this might have been a breaking point, but in the back of her conscience she knew like anyone, that good things did not last for long. Sparx, and his natural mischievousness, eroded a sly comment, as Cynder served tea into his cup. “Hey, your good at this serving thing, ya know, maybe later you could serve me up some of that nice flesh I am seeing right now,” said Sparx referring to Cynder’s body “ I bet you’re especially good at serving that, I got it recommended by Spyro,”
“Sparx,” said Cynder now, almost enraged by this crude comment “One more comment like that, and I swear I’ll kill you,”
Besides the level of violence implied in this remark, Cynder remained strangely calm, starring into her tea, with a worried look. Sparx sorta jumped back, the word “kill” coming out of Cynder’s mouth stirred him every time, you could say he had a slight phobia of her. “Woah woah, okay I won’t do that again,” said Sparx, he then noticed her blank stare into her tea, with the touch of concern, “hey… What’s wrong?”
Cynder looked up at Sparx, and noticed his friendly concern for her. In reality what she thought about was Spyro; she had had another of those horrid dreams of killing him the night before, and was just simply worried for the health of him at the moment. Why should Sparx even bother about concerning for her though? She had always been a disturbance to him anyways, but then she thought and figured it was wiser to just tell him, better to relief yourself of weight with someone then leave it to yourself. “Well, it’s not much really, I had a bad dream last night again and it was really realistic, to such level that when I woke up in the morning, I was relieved to see Spyro up, smiling and with a beating heart. Also, I’m a little considerate about Spyro’s welfare; it’s a long trip, who knows what might happen. But why do you worry for me when you’re such an inconsiderate jerk,” said Cynder, but by adding a bit of extra spice in the last strong words.
At this, Sparx oddly reached a boiling point, he was always called a jerk, and many other things, but he felt otherwise. Sparx slammed his cup to the floor and shouted “I am not a jerk! I’m not! I’m not!”
Cynder stood back slightly at Sparx’s aggressive yet childish reaction, it was odd of him to do this, he usually admitted he was a jerk, but there was a slight sarcasm every time he did so. Maybe it was time to say the truth, Cynder suddenly thought up a question that might have slammed him “Well… prove it,” she said in a rough tone.
Sparx remained quiet now, taking small breaths every time he thought he has a way to escape the question, but in the end, sighed with a sense of defeat “Look… Ok I an a jerk at times, but it’s in my nature, I truly don’t mean to hurt anyone okay?” said Sparx
“Well you do,” snapped Cynder back at the dragonfly.
“But I care for you guys nevertheless, look, If it makes you feel any better, I personally think you are the best thing that has ever happened to Spyro, he has been happier then ever since you have been his companion, that kid had it rough back in the village you know, his only friends were mom, pop, and me,”
“That… was actually a nice thing to say,” said Cynder further bizarre then ever in this day, this even beat the skin.
What had happened to his meanness at this moment? Did a wall of hate finally break and leak out Sparx’s true kind spirit? Sparx noticed his open wall too, and suddenly closed it again, protecting his natural was of being “Well… don’t expect you are going to get more of that from me…”

The time went by quickly and eventually Sparx had to leave back to the village, even if it might have been an insignificant reunion to them, in reality they had grown their friendship a lot now, with some foolish words. Their relationship with each other would never be like it was before.

*Spyro pops up, and gives me a disk of TLOS:DOTD*
Me: Thank you....
Spyro: And just watch, there is a special scene in there that you will love...
*Me plays game, and gets to one of the last game scenes*
Spyro: Cynder.... I.... I want to say i love you!
Cynder: *gasps, but then smiles, with joy* I love you too.... *they kiss*
* I drop my remote, and run out into the streets, screaming like a mad man*
Me: they kissed! they kissed! haza!!!

Wow. Sparx had a very split personality. And yet somehow, I can visualize all that he said. I have an active imagination. Nice work so far. I can't wait for more.

Chapter 43- Book of Spyro- Spitting Image:

Spyro, Ignitus, and Fert talked about plenty of subjects during their long and pleasant reunion, while enjoying the feast Fert endowed to them. At first, it was the cheese and bread, but quickly Fert began to present them with plenty more, A warm sheep’s milk cream soup, several small cups of fruits flooded with a rich caramel, various light breakfast meats, and most recently, a large sweet dragonfruit pie, with the sweetest fruit picked, and a nice amount of whipped cream on top, as Spyro nibbled on the excessively large piece Fert served him he thought of Cynder, and how she would have reacted to this breakfast sweet. As the ate this exquisite collinear piece of art Ignitus said “This sure is wonderful,”
“Yeah,” said Fert “all made by hand,” Fert then turned to look at Spyro, he noticed that Spyro still stayed reluctantly quiet, Spyro believed it was still good manners, but Fert wanted him to talk, Seeing how mysterious Spyro looked in that heavy wrapping of Cloth, made Fert curious “Tell me young lad,” said Fert
Spyro who got shocked that the question was directed at him said “hmm?”
“Tell me things about yourself mate, do you have a lass?”
Spyro tilted his head in a questioning manner, he was usually never exposed to this style of dialect, and it confused him. Ignitus had to help “He’s asking If you are dating Spyro,” Interpreted the purple dragon’s wise master for him.
“Oh!” said Spyro now understanding.
But then he just quickly gave a small single nod and looked down to try to hide his blush, no one ever had tried to ask him about his relationship, even less a partially complete stranger, who knew what he would ask him. Fert noticed his embarrassment though, ad chuckled, a sign of young love at its work, probably his first relationship, wondering on further Fert said “aww… come on lad don’t be timid, now tell me, what is her name?”
“Cynder,” said Spyro in a one word answer manner.
The name suddenly rung a bell in Fert’s mind, wasn’t Cynder the one that tried to conquer this city but failed? Fert asked himself. This made him grow even more curiosity for Spyro, and now the fact that he even wore that robe set, that “coincidentally” covered his entire body, bothered him. He decided that it would be no trouble if he asked the young lad to take his cloak off; he figured that none of them would consider that he was up to something; it was just a generous, cordious question. “Laddie, you look awfully hot n that bunch of cloths you are wearing, you can take then off if you wish,” said Fert
Spyro suddenly looked over to Ignitus, with an expression that would signal he was looking for approval. In reality he did feel real hot in this suit, and Fert was a “friend”, was it ok? Ignitus suddenly nodded, approving Spyro’s none verbal question “Go ahead,” said Ignitus
Spyro now with approval, began to take off his suit, first with his mask, and lastly with his hard leather vest, leaving his chain mail on. Suddenly Fert gasped softly, not only for the fact that the young dragon was the purple dragon, but looked like a spitting image of his Master Ignitus, did this mean something?

please comment...... oh no! what could Ignitus be?

Oh, Spyro looks like Ignitus. Can it be that Ignitus is Spyro's father...? Heh, not in my fan fiction he's not. Someone else is... I'm not saying who though... (:)
Anyway, great work so far and I can't wait for more! While I wait I'm going to browse Deviantart.
