Malefor screenshot!

I found it! A screen shot i found today!
my scanner mest up so can't upload it, but i can tell you how to find it:
Type in malefor,
scrole down the list of things that have to do with malefor,
click on: Giant bomb's thing about malefor,
and it will show a picture of malefor!

Yeah, it does look a little strange to me, mostly because of the style, but it could be from the DS version. *shrug*

WTH?! Is that seriously him? It looks fan-generated to me. Besides, didn't we see Malefor in the Mobile screens? He turned out to be a tan, not purple...

Malefor is NOT tan. That probably wasn't even Malefor! It said IN GAME that Malefor is purple, he was the first purple dragon.

But yeah, there's something I don't trust about this screen shot. It seems fake. I think its the graphics and stuff. It's not DotD style. hmm

The "tan" thing was either some armor or for some dramatic shadowing.

Hmmm...It could be armor or dramatic shading. Still dosent look right, though. BTW, perhaps the screenshot is the DS version. Looks a bit like it.

Seriously? That's NOT Malefor .... for further reference go back to ANB and every time you enter the dojo, and even in TEN ... that very same statue is in The Well Of Souls ... so I would seriously doubt that's Malefor himself!!!

Spyro could knock over that puny wannabe easily!!

Minredd, I've played the mobile version and Malefor is shown tan as well in that game.

Either way, I'm still suspicious about this shot so I'm researching into it. It looked at first like it could be from that Dragonriders game but I remember they sucked at making decent-looking dragons, heh.

They made Malefor TAN in the mobile version? DX That sounds... Dumb. I don't get why they would make him the almost exact opposite color of purple.

Like I said, either armor or just shadowing. (to make him look menacing probably) I'm sure it wasn't a color mistake.

I'm not so sure if that's even from DotD, because while the surroundings seem appropriate the model looks too... scraggly, a bit ragged for a dragon in a Spyro game, and the horn pattern is wrong for it to be Malefor. He doesn't have ear-flappies. Those fin things on either side of his head.
Perhaps it's just another dragon IN the game? Maybe a new Guardian? Still unsure if it's even from Spyro... wouldn't mind being proven wrong though. big_smile

Also: as far as I'm aware the Destroyer is not a dragon. It's a giant mile-high bipedal creature with a town on its back. Look on the main Spyro site, it's right there walking along on the map. *Huffs* If it does turn out to be a dragon then whoopee, but so far I firmly believe it walks on two legs and isn't reptilian. XD

Edit: And I'm with Kazoobie on the Mobile version of Malefor, it's probably just the lighting or something. When Spyro was corrupted he just turned really dark, Malefor wouldn't go from purple to... to... TAN. Eeek. It might even be a statue of himself come to life.

It is a fan-generated one. You can find the model of it for 3ds Max, and I highly doubt the developers would release a model for free...
