Is it Spyro who is small, or Cynder who is big?

Just wondering a bit about Spyro and Cynder's size. Of course, the game shouldn't be 'oh so realistic', but irl the male would be larger than the female. But in the game, it seems like Spyro and Cynder have exactly the same size.
But I would kinda say that Spyro should be a big male, because of all that purple-legend-things, but IMO Cynder should be a small female. Not really sure why.

But what's your oponions?  big_smile

Well, you must remember that Cynder might have been born before Spyro... Maybe a month or two before. Heck it could be a year, but we don't know how long Spyro was floating down the river.

I don't really see a difference in Spyro's and Cynder's sizes. But I think it should be the male who is bigger then the female.  wink

But I'm not really sure...plus it doesn't really matter to me.
Both dragons are awesome!  big_smile

True, but it doesn't bother me. I suppose it's more convenient and cute to have them both the same size.

Someone doesn't know much about biology. In many species, the females are larger (sometimes much larger). Female hyenas, mantises, spiders, and tyrannosaurs are all bigger than males.

As for Cynder, she's pretty much the same size as Spyro, as far as I can tell. But she will probably grow to be a bit longer than him. In ANB, Dark Cynder was longer than all of the male Guardians. Her shoulders came up to about their shoulder height, but her neck put her at over a head taller than them, and her tail was much longer than any of theirs.

[sub]And someone doesn't know how to be respectful. -___-

They probably didn't think about the sizes of the characters while creating the game. Also, if you look at their sizes relative to the Guardians, they're still not fully grown, so whichever is going to be bigger might still have time to grow a little more. [/sub]

Yes... But dragons are a fictional species. We can't just apply the same logic here.

Yes you can, have you ever heard of the movie "Dragons: A fantasy made real"?

No, but it sounds like a fictional movie that just makes fictional things seem real.

If my memory serves me correctly Razz is right.

How so?

Go back to ANB, the cutscene where you free Terrador from Munitions Forge, fly out with him and in comes Ignitus to intercept Cynder who looks like she's about to get you.

That grapple shot where he's on the bottom and she's on the top, she does seem a bit bigger than him ... who'd wanna mess with a fully grown adult female dragon with blades on her wings and a hunting knife like blade on her tail that could cut you to shreds??

Not me !!

Yes, but you must remember that Gaul reformed her. That might not be her true 'adult' form. It may just be her evil form.

That's true Malefor's dark powers could easily make a dragon look like the size it's not. When it's fully grown.

I think its still up for grabs really. Neither of them are fully grown yet so either one could end up taller/longer than the other. But, at the end of the day, I couldn't care less about their size. Two teenage Dragons fighting evil, thats all I need to know.

That dragon movie...they said it was fake at the end.

But for the topic...idc too much. Spyro could be Minime, and Cynder could be Dr. Evil...

Re: Is it Spyro who is small, or Cynder who is big?

Given that Cynder has been around the same size as Spyro for the entire series, I'm guess she'll at least be evenly matched with him and she'll probably grow up to be longer than him (her tail is already longer than Spyro's).

As for that dragon documentary...that's the worst documentary I've ever seen, even if it is fake. I hated that film so much. Heard the book was good, though.

Well it wasn't real, they were just explaining what the most probable thing would happen if they did discover a dragon.

There's a book?

Re: Is it Spyro who is small, or Cynder who is big?

It was still a terrible documentary, which was disappointing because I had been looking forward to it. The whole thing was based on a book which, for the life of me, I can't recall the title to but I know it's been out of print for a long time. I took serious issue with their "probable and believable" dragons. Eating platinum? What?!

Anyway... big_smile

when it originally aired on discovery (or was it animal planet?) they made sure to put up on the screen before the show, after and even at all the commercial breaks that it was a "what if" scenario... not real.

Re: Is it Spyro who is small, or Cynder who is big?

Spyro is slightly bigger than Cynder, when they are standing next to each other, you can tell, he has a couple inches on her in height.  As for when they are full-grown, I expect that slight difference to remain.
