Volteer's not the only one doing it ... check out Hunter .. they're both looking roughly in the same direction ...

But then again Volteer's known to be the weird one of the group, back in ANB when Spyro got him back to the Dragon's Lair, can come up with a few things that will make you scratch your head and think "WTH is this guy saying" ?? ...

That would mean they were unconscious, and if their body was working for maturing, it would need to be fed and such for them to even stay alive. In any case, them being unconscious wasn't what was happening. The chronicler was implying that he was stopping time inside that crystal. They matured simply by either an error on the writers' part, or the writers knew the flawed logic and went with it anyway because they thought everyone would overlook it or just wouldn't care. Your choice.

Or they do not age in the crystal, but age rapidly to catch up once out. I have read books in which it happens like that.

Uh, what? That's some bizarre fantasy logic that would come out of nowhere in this universe. Either way, you can see they have already aged when they're in the crystal when they're found, and they appear the same once out of it.

To be honest, it took me a while to get used to their new looks, period. Mainly, it was Spyro's appearance that threw me for a loop. But, after seeing it so many times, I love their new character designs! The guardians look fine to me, just slight differences in the face. Cynder looks awesome! X3 I think they did a pretty good job! I
m glad they're changing Sparx's look, because the old design was WAY too creepy to me. XD

Hey guys did you see that Iggy became the new chronicler at the end! He looks better in blue I think. P.S. That pic. of the "chronicler", thats not him.
