I liked the ending. I saw Iggy's demise a mile off, though I'll admit to being surprised by the rest. Cheesy? Perhaps, yet I like it all the same.

JLK, You weren'gt the onkly one. I have not gotten the game yet, but I expect to get it within a week or so. ordered it online. As for the game itself, I'll give my two cents fully after I play and beat it. But from reading here and on the Sieerra boards, my guess is that there will be a continuing storyline using the characters from TLOS trilogy. Those of you that keep hoping for the original series to return, well folks its not going to happen. The trilogy has revived interest in Spyro, so why mess with something that is working? As the old saying goes, if it aint broke don't fix it.

Well, from some perspectives, there's plenty "broken" about TLOS...

but it was supposed to be a trilogy, so how would they explain anything after?

Sometimes trilogies gets extended to become full fledged seies. It happens a lot in movies. Examples, look at the Shrek Films or the Pirates films. Indiana Jones, I could go on. As long as the games remain popular, they will continue to be made. While the Trolgy arc is over, the stories involving these characters are not over.

Well, maybe you're right. After all, after the credits they seemed to patch up things quite nicely, maybe to leave room for another addition to the storyline.

It remains to be seen, and as much as I'm crossing my fingers for it (assuming EL will make the games and not get lazy like Krome seemed to), I'd think the odds were against it.

I'd like if they countinued it as a series, but who would the villain be?, a secret evil Dragon. This isn't that far-fetched, secret villains have always been used to continue a game, why not Spyro?

I am incredibly satisfied with the ending, mostly because it means that a LoS 4 is no longer possible. big_smile

Speaking of which, I almost wish I hadn't beaten it so early. There's maybe a handful of people who have beaten the game, so I'm sitting here pondering over the ending solo, since none of my friends have beaten it yet hmm

I just beat the game...I loved the ending. And to answer your question Raidon, you can't tell it's Hamill, his voice was warped to sound a lot more evil.

Some one brought this up again so I'll say it again, S and C were confirmed by production staff as not being siblings. But as for games beyond the LOS series, which there will be with these characters and story. What if the next villain was Spyro and Cynder's son? O.o
