Director(s)
I've been seeing lots of rants about the Spyro movie while randomly browsing Google complaining about the Director for the Spyro movie.
Who do you think would make a really good Spyro movie? I don't really have an opinion on this one. lol

Re: Director(s)
I don't really care who as long as they know what they're working with. I don't want someone who's a complete mess. But I don't have a clue as to who it will be.

Re: Director(s)
i hope its someone who is a true spyro fan. That way they could make it a way better movie then if they weren't a spyro fan.

Re: Director(s)
Yeah I hope so too. I don't want my favorite dragon to be ruined on the big screen @_@. But even if so, I would still love Spyro ^^

Re: Director(s)
oh the producers will certainly have someone who knows alot about the TLOS story line (I sure hope so), otherwise they would have a messed up script.
And they certainly would have someone that designed the characters in TLOS to help design the movie counterparts.

Re: Director(s)
Well, the script writers are Steve and Daniel Altiere. Don't know much about them though. I think they worked with one of the Dr. Doolittle movies.

Re: Director(s)
It is going to be the same director that directed Eragon.

Re: Director(s)
I reckon we need someone young, but talented, a fan of the original games would be nice, provided they didn't allow their fond memories to overpower the films content (I'm all up for sticking to what originally works, but times change and so does an audiences focus of attention) NOT someone who writers blockbusters (since they fall into forumlae tactics and plots really quickly: I say now at the risk of upsetting Star Wars fans that George Lucas should never be allowed to touch a franchise again after his genius has created it, because it's always all downhill from there. XD)
The same holds for writers - the director can only do so much good if the script is bad to begin with. Here's hoping we get a fresh new director with an open mind.

Re: Director(s)
I think the reason why I hated the movie was becuase I read the book too many times. And it had poor acting.

Re: Director(s)
I'm a little iffy about the directors, with them being from Eragon and some Garfield movies. Eragon, I thought, completely dug itself a hole, as it didn't really cover the book to its full potential (and I really thought that book could be a serious epic). tl;dr I hated it.
But then again, like some of you said, I am hoping it's at least someone who knows what they're doing. xD;

Take some time to look through my gallery! ;D (Trust me, it's not all Invader Zim -- there IS some rather popular Spyro pics) http://kalliahverkauf.deviantart.com
