On topic, of course they're a couple; as Fletch said, there'd be an uproar if they weren't. =P

Actually, I wasn't really expecting to hear her say "I love you..." at the end, so I would've been ok if they still wasn't a true couple.

I never had a general problem with Spyro x Cynder besides the incestual overtones before DotD came out, or that I just wasn't feeling it. Now it's out and well, the way the fandom has been acting has pretty much repulsed me from it. It's like every time I hear S/C discussion I get shocked by 10,000 watts so now when someone brings it up I fear I'm going to get shocked and stay away from it. This is why I had to decline one request from someone to draw them. sad I used to make jokes about them being married too and now I can't. Look at what you've done, fandom!

Also, a suggestion for you, try not to generalize people by how their forum customization is set up.

I was only messin with ya. I know, the fandom for these two are scary, very scary, but every fandom has them (freaks). Just like any game/anime/cartoon that has a female character in it, about 75% of the male fandom says "She is so hawt!" and "I'm in love with "x", Im so jealous of "y"!" (some of you girls act the same way about male characters). I just ignore them (or try to) and keep liking what I like.

It's happened to me several times. There's also a huge fanbase for a boy/boy pair in the Phoenix Wright series. I don't know how many have played those games, but it's for Phoenix/Edgeworth. I actually kind of liked it at first, but then the fanbase got ENORMOUS. I was in a livejournal community about the general game and nobody could stop talking about that "ship." Phoenix/Edgeworth this! Phoenix/Edgeworth that! Nobody could talk about the actual game anymore. Then people started to think it was canon, etc. etc. (It really, really isn't.) Even when someone made a post that had nothing to do with it SOMEBODY had to bring up the ship one way or another. So I did what I had to do by what my instincts were telling me: Scream bloody murder and leave that community, forever hating when people talk about that pair.

I think it's safe to say that they're a couple. Some of their interactions- mostly near the end of the game- seemed to hint pretty strongly at it.

Well some people would like to interpret that as a friend saying I love you to a friend...but I like most don't see how that is possible granting the situation in the game. While in the meadow they just say they are playing around like normal friends as opposed to a couple...again anyone can really think what they want with the ending...it leaves it open in a way...but I'm pretty sure that they are together.

Cynder stayed at his side during the end of the world...and wasn't leaving no matter what. After all he never abandoned her when she needed it...and those final words were no friendly I love you. They ceratinly showed their affection towards each other in the last three levels of the game. So It is my assumption that from here on out they are officially a couple...we will see just what they decide to do now that this series has concluded.

Again that's what I think...but it's anyone's guess...

I think it's official. There so much evedence that thay have feeling for eachother even in TEN.
I agree on the whole 'I love you' thing being serious, What else would you say when the world is about to end?

Lol...very very true....that's why I will just ignore it....but on fanfiction I don't think I have seen anyone try to do a cross like that lol....and I think it would be nice to keep it that way.
