I hope the ending isnt one of those 'We'll let the fans decide their fate' thing because that just sparks off a war about if they're dead or not... Okay so there is already a war going on but you know what I mean.

Why? It's not like everyone wastes their time by arguing where Link went at the end of Twilight Princess or Majora's Mask.

The ending could have been taken in either direction...but I feel that they hint towards a certain direction merely by what happened in the ending cutscene....but again it could be taken either way. LOS fans will love the fact that they are alive while anti-LOS would prolly like it more if they were dead.
But then again who knows....
