QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

at the end before cynder confesses her love to spyro, you know after the part when ignitus' ghost talks to spyro, he says "i know what i need to do! just get outta here cynder!!"

QUESTION!! if the chain snake thingy was attached to them, HOW COULD SHE GET OUTTA THERE?!?! lol!

unless when you beat the dark master, the chains unlock and they are free. IDK..

and dont say that the dark master took them off, cause he didnt. rember HE DID but before he turned cynder evil again. when she turned back to good he put it back on. dont think i didnt know. XD

i know it doesnt make that much scence, and i bet nobody can answer this question cause they have no idea. but i will take any answer, cause i just pointed that out afta i beated the dark master.

thanks!

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

Right after Malefor is dragged to his eternal prison down below, the magic chain that was holding the two together finally disappeared....thus allowing the two dragons to be seperated again.

Once Malefor was defeated his magic went with him. Watch the ending closely and you will notice this.

So basically Cynder stayed with Spyro at the end in her own free will. She chose to stay with him at the end of all things.

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

i found the scene in the middle of the burned lands interesting...

Hidden text

Cynder: He's up there somewhere, isn't he?  I don't know if I can go through with this.
Sypro: I don't know either.  But we have to.
(fast forward)
Cynder: Alright then.  I'll go, but only because I want to get rid of this chain.

first, i should admit to what someone said a week or so ago.. that when we believe something, everything we see seems to reaffirm it.
when i saw this scene, though... cynder seems to hesitate before saying it.. like she needs to give some sort of "valid" excuse to stay with spyro instead of just admitting that she wants to stay with him.
and spyro closes his eyes and doesn't respond to that statement directly, as if thinking either "please don't mean that" or "i know you don't mean that".

one of the few moments in this game that i felt was well done, where spyro not saying anything said a lot .. where the absence of something was more meaningful than if something would have been said.  like the scene where spyro reaches through to cynder when she's under malefor's control by saying "you've left me nothing to fight for" that WOULD have been better with an absence of music... to allow such a stunning statement to carry it's own weight and really be heard and felt (though i did like her response and didn't feel it was overstated).

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

I do agree with your points. Noticing little things like that between the characters can really tell a lot in the relationships.

Cynder finally managed to express her real reason for staying with Spyro at the end of all things...and the whole scene with her transforming into her dark form and Spyro rescuing her was well done...but I think they could have put something a little...."more" into it.....

I thought it was another perfect time for a nuzzle or something like that...but that's just me..

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

too overstated for my tastes, and really, with the threat of malefor there, i don't think it would have been one of those comfortable moments.
in my mind's eye when i watch that scene, i imagine her eyes beginning to water just a little.
.. but that's just me..

I also agree with you on the "there shouldn't have been music" thing.

Honestly, I was surprised Cynder was the one turned evil. I thought for sure Spyro would've.

On your points Dorrin, I'm pretty sure when that scene happened it was like in anime, when they close their eyes and smile at something

I imagined Spyro thrashing Malefor in Dark Spyro mode over what Ignitus' death... It obviously shook him up then, so I figured he'd go all out on Malefor.

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

I think it would have been pretty sweet if they both went dark on Malefor....that and I also think it would have been sweet if you could have unlocked their dark forms.

The scene in general was done well...I wouldn't change a thing. I was just putting in my two cents.

Too bad they do go all dark on Malefor lol. well, not turning black or anything. *no that im not racist* but still, they used fury breath n stuff righhht???

I liked all the cutscenes, ecept whe,

Ignitus died, Spyro's facial expression didnt look all that shocked, like NO! Whatever.* So just saying, the expressions could've been better, and the voices could have been more dramatic dont you think??
like when Cynder goes like, "Spyro No." maybe like.. SPYRO!! NO!! DONT!!!!" n maybe during the confrontation of Malefor, when Cynder turned dark, bit more acting there would've been nice big_smile.
well enough Critisism. I think the graphics is like, FFX cutscenes. big_smile
really good big_smile

Re: QUESTION BOUT THE ENDIN!! (do NOT read unless you have seen the ending! you have been warned!!)

Well yes the graphics were excellent no doubt about it....but your right.....the cutscenes where Spyro went dark and Cynder went dark didn't seem to hold much emotion.

Yes the words were pretty spot on....but your right...the characters didn't really seem to show too much emotion with thier bodies. Like you said....when Ignitus died....Spyro's face didn't seem too depressed....until the moment right before he went dark.

Even the scene with Cynder....I think they could have done a little bit more with that...but that's just me.
