Do you want a difficulty slider?
You know, those things that let you adjust the difficulty of the game?
Here's what I want:
Easy: For the people who suck at hard games.
Normal: Normal....
Hard: Harder
Extreme: VERY Hard. I'd start at this point.

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
That's a really good idea! I wish they'd include one now, because a lot of people couldn't beat TEN for a while due to the extreme difficulty of certain areas. Like the Mountain of Malefor's dreadful floating-skeletal-pillbug-horses. >>
I'd probably play through Normal first and go up from there.

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
Yes, I would like a difficulty bar. Then we could race to see how badly I would beat Doppel on the extreme setting while he was on the easy.

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
Yeah a difficulty setting would be good. I always wanted one on ANB to make it harder so one on dawn of the dragon would be good.

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
I think there should be a slider option.
That said, maybe there should be some kind of... test to determine how good the player is, and then have the game difficulty increase according to their skill level, rather than a preset one. (That's a bit over the top, I know, but it's an idea)

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
The three original games had a system whereas the more a player died, the easier the game got and the longer the player survives the harder the game got. This feature in the upcoming game would be cool, although I doubt it will happen.

Noticed it a little, but I only blown past through the difficulty.
I want the slider to be at maximum difficulty at all times.

Not entirely, so far as I'm aware it didn't. There were a few times where I felt sure the game was taking pity on me for sucking so badly at playing it and changed things a little bit, but that could just be my imagination or weird gameplay technique.
There WAS a cheat for an easy/hard gaming level in Spyro 3... but I don't know aboutthe others.

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
yeah, maybe. In the first place I coulden't beat Arborick because I din't know how to beat him. Later when I did got to know how, It was hard!!
I wished that there was a difficulty slider! But okay, now it's easy to beat him, because your getting used to it. But what I'm trying to say is that if the bosses are reaallyy hard I would like to have a difficulty slider in it!

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
I think it should have easy normal hard and extreme (that you unlock after completing the game in hard mod).I also think it should be something you choose at the start of the game and then it last until you complete it.Then you can choose another difficulty when you choose to start the game over at the same save.I don't like the idea on having it at the bosses cause i don't want to be attempted on completing them in a easy way only because i just cant wait to see whats after i defeated it
i think i maybe can draw after all

Re: Do you want a difficulty slider?
that's a good idea. the game's pretty hard just to give you an idea of the difficulty. a lot of people are having trouble on it. use your brain and mad gaming skills, and you're good.
My mind is like a lighting bolt. One brilliant flash, and then it's gone.
