What do you think will happen at the end of DOTD

Well that was kinda the point lol...they left the cliffhanger ending so that they had something to go on with for the future games. Basically just leaving it open for a sequal should they choose to do so.

Oh you have been having computer issues. Well I look forward to seeing your updates. Chapter 7 is a personal favorite on mine....I think I put a lot into that chapter.

yeah. i don't really have many computer issues with the story, i was just kinda busy. then dotd came out so i was playing that. it's just my scanner. it's a long story, so i won't go into it. i just feel kinda weird now since i know what really happened in dotd, but i feel like my story is part of it too. it kinda messed me up. oh well, at least it's my own version with OCs like crazy. i swear there's even more.

Yeah well I don't care that DotD is out now lol...when I do my next story I will take the fact that the game has been released into effect...but for now I am working in my own world and that's the way I like it.

That's the great thing about it...you can do whatever you want so long as it's semi faithful lol..

exactly. i think i may steal some things from dotd in my sequel. though the destroyer is not going in it. i want some things the same, but others different.

Yeah...well making it exactly like DotD would be no fun anyways lol....but you can keep the same elements....that's what I do....I wouldn't use the Destroyer only because it wouldn't be much fun. Basically I would go with the same general storyline...but introduce new elements into it.

Using my own characters is a great way to show that...and to bring your own story to life despite what happened in games and such.

yeah. like did you notice that there is only one element spyro didn't master. light. you'd think that would be the element he beat malefor with, but nope. but like you said, it's nice to be able to do what we want. we can use any elements and any characters. it definitely makes things more interesting.

Well that's what I'm doing....heck I think they should have used the fact that Spyro was exposed to the darkness more to their advantage. Yes they had that one little scene that showed it....but you should have been able to use that power against Malefor himself......it would have def made for a more climactic finish....that or both him and Cynder going dark against him.....sweet.

yeah, but the thing is, when they're both in their dark forms, they're being controlled by malefor. i'm not so sure about it when spyro turned dark in dotd, but in eternal night he was being controlled by him as was cynder in dotd at the end. in a way they did defeat him with darkness. the element at least. maybe they did that so malefor wouldn't be able to control them.

Very true....that's why I have made it so that Spyro can control the darkness within him...so that he could in turn use it against Malefor when the time came.....I did not give Cynder the same luxury however.

Nope...I got it on the 23rd..two days late as well....and I had to ask the guy repeatedly if they got it in yet or not....they only got like 3 copies of it on PS3...so I snatched one up as soon as I could.

nice. i went the 22nd to best buy and when i asked them if they had it, they said it wasn't coming out until the next day. i was so bummed. then when i got it the 23rd, the game was still in the back. they were kinda slow. i wonder what was up with the later release date anyway?[/url]

Just a bunch of stupid things...the game was really marketed poorly...I didn't see any comercials...or any real rush to get it up on the shelves...even now you can't really find them up in stores...at least not to the degree that you should.

Just wasn't handled well...could have been much better.

Well I don't want to crack down on the developers..because heck we're not the ones who have to build a game from the bottom up...so it's unfair to put too much blame on them. I give them credit for attempting to resurect the series...and if they really want to go for the kill then they will learn from this experience and develop something even greater for the future..but that's just me.

Maybe someday we can be more involved with how they develop such things..
