The Destroyer...

I need help! >-o I am trying to get the last two blue gem crystals at the top of the Destroyer, before you destroy the last dark gem, but there is a down draft and I can't seem to get to them. What am I doing wrong? I tried wall run, flying slow, flying around, etc. Help please! Thanks

okay, get to the tallest ledge, then fly AWAY from him, then towards his belly/ribs area, you should then be able to get up there.

Well, what I ended up doing to finally get those two blue gem things was use Cynder's shadow attack and got lucky. Shadowed my way through the down draft and landed on the platform with the two blue crystals. Yeah! That level is done. Now, if someone could answer my other post about the armor in Ruins of Warfang, LOL.

BTW, I love the new Spyro series. Haven't purchased them yet, but have rented them through Gamefly and love them. TEN was a bit harder than the first one, but got through it (though not 100%). Going to ask for these new games as Xmas and Bday gifts! I have all the Spyros, except for the DS. Am thinking about the mobile game, but not sure and not sure where to find it.

Anyhoo... sorry, off topic a bit. Will stop ranting now. neutral

Well I guess it depends on which piece of armor your looking for lol..the only one I can recall from memory right now is the piece that you get once you fight the ogre and all those annoying orcs...you kinda have to break the wall open while you fight them...or something like that...I don't really remember...I'll have to check the guide.

The piece of armor I was looking for in Ruins of Warfang was the one that was underneath the weird platform. Got it, yeah. Now on to the dam and find the last two blue crystals there. :::sigh::: sure got a lot of back tracking to do, LOL.

after you open the first two floodgates, and you're able to use the elevator/platform doohicky, go halfway up the shaft, there's a little ledge with the two crystals.
