PSX Extreme Review for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-reviews/185.html
Here is another pretty good review for you guys. I was pretty impressed with this. He hits well on certain areas that I noticed such as game design and rushing production. He also says a very interesting piece about how the first Spyro series did get so popular..so take a look and tell me what you think.

The PS3 version has framerate issues? PS2 version runs just fine... interesting.

Well I noticed that if you leave the game running for awhile...then just pick it up and play...the framerate did slow down very very considerably...and it sped up once in awhile too....It only happened once...I just rebooted the system then it stopped.

You would be quite surprised to hear this.
On PSXE when I read a review done on the PS3 version of a game called 'TNA Impact', teh PS2 version was superior to the ps3 version o_O

Re: PSX Extreme Review for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
Additional differences between the two are speed and strength, as Cynder is the faster runner, but weaker in defense in contrast to Spyro.
Man, this sure explains a lot.

Re: PSX Extreme Review for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
No, I didn't know. My friend played Cynder and she would always be ahead of me but she also died the most. She would always yell at me "you're too slow!!!" in a Sonic-like voice, (it's his taunt in SSBB for those who don't play it) and I couldn't figure out why I couldn't go faster.

Re: PSX Extreme Review for The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon
Ohhh...well I read like all the articles that came out...and one of them said that Spyro would be slower and more powerful...while Cynder would be quicker but weaker.....doesn't surprise me that some would have been confused by it.....every time I played Cynder all it would really take was 4-5 hits before she bit the dust...
