It may not be stereotyping yours lol....but can't say the same for others. The LoS games were good to people too...and some in here certainly take time out of theirs schedule to bash just how bad they were to them....so others can do it on here.
I think both series were good and that's what I think. You can introduce your views and others can introduce theirs. As much as you you or others think the new games suck..some still think they were good...until of course someone blames us for not knowing what the heck were thinking or something...but whatever.
Like I said some do believe the new games were enjoyable..I'm sorry that you don't....but until they find something that works all fans will be arguing about it.

Most people(or at least the people I know) liked the game just for the story and some characters and some even admitted that they like Insomniac's gameplay over this......
And if you ask me games are about gameplay
Me, when I play games I don't care what reviews said, I don't care how the game is over hyped and I don't care what the fanboys say...
I take the game and I judge it by it's gameplay since it's the most important part of ANY game!
And the gameplayin LOS series is bad, gets boring very easy, it's repetitive and only takes random button mashing which annoys me since I hate those types of games...
So yeah I'm not going by "OLD GOOD!!NEW BAD!!! ME GRIMLOCK DON'T LIKE NEW GAME!!!" I'm just saying that the gameplay isn't good...
I couldn't care less for the story at this point....

I think the problem here is that people get all crazy over someone's opinion. So what if ratchet said "another crappy thing about TLoS?" It's just his opinion, if it bugs you so much just don't reply. If it bugs you so much that he doesn't like TLoS because he's stuck in the old games, stop having discussions with him. Obviously, he's "biased" in your mind, so why is it worth the hassle? You're just egging him on and then you complain about his opinions later.
Complaining about someone complaining isn't helping much, is it?

I never egg him on in any of his statements. Most of the time I agree with what anybody has to say because yes it is an open forum so everyone has their own oppinions.
What gets me is when someone like him offers his oppinion(usually in the most arrogant way he can, no offense) and then gets mad when someone offers a decent argument. I'm sorry if you feel that way about the game..but all of you argue the point if someone says something decent about the new games.
And to Starscream..it's good for you that you enjoy the gameplay so much..I admit that it is a very big portion of the game. But their are vast amounts of different gamers in this world...and just as much of them enjoy a decent storyline just as much as decent gameplay...so thanks for going off about it. All of your points are based on your point of view, so good for you..but it's not gonna effect what what the developers think.
Yes games were about gameplay to begin with...but many disovered that if you add a good storyline into it many can be drawn back into it then before. That was an experiment and it was pretty successful..so the LoS attempted to cater to that audience.
And back to the other post don't contradict yourself too because the same thing happens when someone else says something about LoS...for example when he just barges into a forum and goes "Another reason LoS sucks..."...which if your like me I'm sorry...but that's just asking for someone to come back at ya...I don't aim to make anyone mad or frustrated..I merely present an opposing argument..which wow is pretty evident in forums.
Everyone has their own minds and everyone thinks what they want to think..but don't go off on someone because they actually argue something over with you...and to him it's pretty obvious he does it on purpose...so I'm not showing any remorse for it.
Regardless of anything someone will always complain...that's just human nature.

As blown out of proportion that it was she was just offering her opinion on the matter...those words are really not needed. Everyone will express how they feel about the subject. Rather respectfully disagree then just go off and add more fuel to the fire.
Words are twisted and things will always be blown up more then they should...but if she took your quote the wrong way then it was unintentional. Next time just direct your quote towards him in general. Really no need for stuff like that though.

Oh, so you want me to just be all nice and proper, when they start accusing me of generalizing and stereotyping? No, that's not who I am. The way I see it, you mess with me, you get no mercy from me, and Kazoobie took it too far, so I evened the playing field. I don't stereotype, I don't generalize, that isn't who I am. I don't let myself become what others have done to me, calling me a Nazi because I'm German, calling me a nerd, geek or autistic just because I'm different from others at my school and get high grades. So yeah, if Kazoobie didn't want this, then she shouldn't have started this.

That's all well and good if that's how you want to handle things..then at least take it to your own separate topic or something. If you want to just "beep" everyone off with your statements it's all find by me.
Some words could have been chosen more wisely yes....but again it's an open forum so anyone can express their views exactly how they want. If you're gonna have a nice long debate about something at least make it sensible...because I highly doubt that she cares if she insulted your views or not...but that's just me...maybe she does.

I wasn't calling you wrong on anything. You just decided to blow that out of proportion. I said if you want to do it then go for it....if you can't express your views in a respectable way then that's your business.
But again if that is how you do it then fine...I wasn't going after you for changing it...that's your business....and if you didn't want all this nonsense to begin with then you should have just thought out your response better...or just avoided the topic all together.
This topic was about the similarities between Hunter and the guy from AC...so if you're gonna say something about it then do it. Fight with Ratchet on the other topic like I do....at least that relates to it in a way.

Oh, don't worry Red, I'm not going to argue anymore, because it's useless. Oh, and Kazoobie, one more thing. Sarcasm actually means the exact opposite of what you are saying. So by saying I was mature, you're saying I'm immature, and thus calling me names. You are merely causing a paradox. As for this topic, yes, there's about one similarity between Hunter and Altair, but that's it.
