i think that this one, as well as YOTD had the best bosses out of all the Spyro Games.

The boss in YOTD are too easy, for me, Crash and Gulp were a fun challage

Crush was pretty easy for me but Gulp was a challenge at 1st.

i like scorch kinda better  but Ripto was fun i loved the last homeworld ripto fight i partly forget since i beaten it when i was like 6ish 8ish!

I think that Ripto is the most epic boss in all the games. I mean, there's three parts to it, and it's rather difficult, although I haven't played it in a while. A terrific final boss! Although I do miss that there are no gems to collect in the Spyro 2 and 3 boss levels, I think the bosses themselves in Spyros 2 and 3 are better, especially Ripto. Ripto is the best boss, and if my memory serves, the most difficult.

I loved the Ripto battle it was awsome , even though it was so hard!  I didn't like the metal gulp part it was hard and he kept taking all the orbs...but the flying part was fun! Whee!  I don't even know I defeated him! I just shot fireballs at the bird... :-|

I agree this is by far the best boss battle in ANY Spyro game!!!!

Yea, ripto was one of the best bosses in all spyro games. I think red (not mecha) had a good variety of attacks too, but still, ripto beats him.
