Idk lol...I personally don't really care who his father is lol...and I think that it is one question that they will never answer...I think it's better off that way...but then again that's just me.

Yeah, but it would at least tie up some loose strings. I wonder who Cynder's parents are/ were

It'd be so wierd if Malefor was her dad. But then again, why would he put his daughter through that. Because Malefor only wanted power, he wasn't really..... like, born cruel.

Well I have considered the idea of writing a story that involves Malefor being her father in some way...or I have another wierd idea in my head...like what if she had Malefor's child lol...that would be creepy.

But she was more adult at one point..and even though she was still young...she was under his influence...so in theory it was very well possible...I don't know it's just an idea that I could run with if I wanted to lol....me and my disturbed mind lol...nah jk..

Re: Holy Crap! In this video, someone says Ignitus is like a Fatherly figure

This video also shows what Malefor would've sounded like had they not altered Mark Hamill's voice. To be honest, he sends more chills down the spine with Mark Hamill's unaltered voice, rather than that supernatural, booming, artificial sound. A waste of Mark Hamill's talents. They could just as easily have used Peewee Herman to voice Malefor, and tweaked his voice to sound the way it does in DotD.

Yeah when I watched that video I was like "Why the heck didn't they just leave his voice alone...heck it sounds even creepier that way.."......but now..they had to screw around with it....really was a waste of his talents.

Re: Holy Crap! In this video, someone says Ignitus is like a Fatherly figure

Oh, and Gary Oldman's talent wasn't used all that much. Ignitus wasn't as prominent in this game as he was in ANB. But, at least he had more of a part than he did in TEN.

Hidden text

His sacrifice though, it still... bothers me. And it's unrealistic, if you look at it in terms of logic. In ANB, he was able to fight against Cynder and hold his own for a good amount of time, after not fighting for several years. He wouldn't have had much endurance, due to being away from fighting for all those years. In DotD, after fighting a war for three years, his endurance would've increased due to all the hardships he faced. Yet, after taking ten steps into the belt of fire, he tires out. Instead of sacrificing himself, he could've turned back as Spyro suggested, and rested to regain his energy, to send them off from a safer location. For those who argue there wouldn't be enough time, not true. According to the Law of Conservation of Energy, energy cannot be created or destroyed, merely regained or used up. It would've taken him just as much time to gain the energy he used to take those ten steps, to regain his energy.

The choice, though it was a sacrifice, can be seen as selfish in nature. The sacrifice was made in order for him to make up for his "failures," which shouldn't be seen as failures, as no one could've foreseen the apes' attack on the temple, or the events at the Mountain of Malefor. He placed his own desire over how Spyro would've felt at the loss. In fact, his choice actually could've backfired. Realistically, the sacrifice most likely would have caused Spyro to give up everything, and the Destroyer would have succeeded. When faced with a terrible loss, a person is in grief for hours, even days.

Re: Holy Crap! In this video, someone says Ignitus is like a Fatherly figure

Well I certainly agree with your views...I always just thought the belt of fire was very very potent..and it took him an insane amount of energy to protect them while walking through it.

As for the sacrifice thing....he believed that he was at fault for his own actions..and wanted to make it up by sacrificing himself one final time...with all he had left.....if he really felt that guilty about what happened..then I guess it was just his decision.

The thing I was prolly most annoyed with was the Dark Spyro scene...I agree with you that anyone who was close to him would have been really grieving for awhile in response to this...so I thought that Spyro would have been a little more "angry" while in that state.....and Cynder didn't really seem affected at all...but perhaps that is just her nature.
