Cynder in the old Spyro games?

Would you like Cynder in the old Spyro games yes or no? Or are you not sure? I wonder what that would've been like.... What Sharon is thinking right now: *plays as Cynder* BYE RED!!!!!!! Cause I have 4 elements that are more pwoerful than ever! Ok, SHADOW TIME! *uses Shadow, then wind, then poison, then shadow again, and lastly fear about ten times*

As interesting as that would be to see...I don't see it happening. I think that her personality wouldn't be quite suited to the older series...then again you never know lol....just my opinion.

Well I don't see them changing it anytime soon lol...but it would have been interesting to see what her character would have been like had she been in the original series...but as for anything in the future...they won't change it.

I don't think she would suit. If she had to be there, she needed another personality and another look. But after that, shes not Cynder anymore, or what?

How could you say that if you said you've played DOTD? In DOTD, Cynder is as fun loving as the Original Spyro. She Insults Sparx as much as Sparx insults her and makes some arrogrant statements.

Well doom ands gloom wouldn't be there for cynder because ONE.

ONE: She would be different personality in the orginal
TWO: NO dark master means no evil using her
Three: Changing her.

Four: omg they made hunter be GI JOE all serious, Lets face it LOS made some personalities suck

Im still wondering how ember would act when cynder comes

I mean Ember has been trying to reel spyro in 4 almost half a decade and this new girl shows up and he cant keep his tongue off tha ground

Ember gets jealous and causes some trouble with tha new girl

then spyro gets on the defensive
flame trys 2 make his move on ember and gets hurt

all this because one person come on now

If they did throw her personality into the old games...I still don't think it would fit very well lol...that's just the personal feeling that I get. Better to just leave her be in the LoS series that she was pretty much built for lol...as for everything else...it kinda depends...but I still say no.

Nah, I don't think adding her to the older games would work out too well. Her role in the newer games is there and needed, while in the older games she'd most likely end up being one of the most random and unneeded characters there. tongue If anything they should just leave the old games alone so they don't end up ruining them.

Yeah, but they changed Spyro, Sparx and Hunter completely for TLoS and some people here still consider them Spyro, Sparx and Hunter. Her look shouldn't need much revamping, it should be fine with an altered model from TEN.

Besides, I hate how dull she is in TLoS minus her evil form in ANB; changing her character is probably a good thing. I do this with my own characters too. I looked at one that I've had for seven years and realized how retarded it was and completely changed her, look and personality, but she's still on the same grounds as a character.

This could happen to any character from anywhere you could think of right from when it is born out of a concept draft. If they don't make it work, it's usually because of shoddy character developers. You just have to trust that they have workers who know what they're doing.

Which unfortunetly most of the time they don't lol...but some can surprise you. I would like seeing her character put into the old series lol....there is just like almost no chance of it happening.

They could revamp her in a way to fit into those games....but I would see her as just being an evil character all together in the old games rather then a hero later on in LoS...she was more interesting as a villain during ANB...but her characteristics after that I just put the thought in my head that because of what she has done in the past...she regrets it so much that her attitude has become rather shallow and distant....that's prolly not what they meant lol...but it makes me feel better when I play it...

I've mentioned this in several other topics and in my art thread, but there are plenty of ways to make her design work and still have her be an ally.

Creating a dark world with Cynder's breed of dragon in them in the style of the first Spyro is one way. Like how Dream Weaver dragons create good dreams, the dragons from Cynder's world could be the opposite and bring fear and nightmares, perhaps sharing the philosophy that fear is an important motivator for living beings. Maybe they also like to play tricks on others. In my version, Cynder is a childhood friend of the old Spyro who lives in that world and she can be a controllable character like how Sheila, Bentley and so on were.

Well I certainly like your ideas...and I totally believe you in that changing the designs is possible lol....sounds like a solid idea for a story. But anyways if it wasn't for the developers screwing everything over things like this just might be possible..

Yeah, I know it's very unlikely to happen anyway, but I'm happy to discuss what I think should be done. It's like that thing they made us do in several art classes, where we had to critique each other's works in the class, and sometimes people listened to it and sometimes they didn't. This one guy always drew long necks in his anatomy drawings and everyone pretty much pointed out that he shouldn't do that, but he never stopped, LOL. We never stopped telling him though.

Well so long as he has the desire and the willpower to do it why would he stop lol....if you do something that you truly love to do then nobody is gonna stop you or tell you otherwise...I remember doing similar stuff in my art classes...but art was never my major so I didn't pay 100% attention all the time lol..

Well, the thing he does that he truly loves is I am assuming drawing. If we're drawing anatomy, your personal style needs to be put away and the anatomy need to be accurate. If several people point out the neck, then it's his personal choice if he wants to heed their advice or not, but the critique is to help him.

My point being that it doesn't really matter if it's unlikely to change or not in the end, people will always have the desire to point out what should be happening.

Well it depends on what shoud be happening. Obviously yes if it is an art class and anatomy does take a big part in such things I'm sure...yeah people expect you to follow a certain style with accordance to the course...and if someone decides to branch out and try their own idea...yeah it's gonna raise some eyebrows and some debate.

Something different will always draw attention of course lol....but it's different between something like a class...and then something like the Spyro franchise now. The idea of what shoudl be happening will obviously be different to everyone. Simply some people believe this some people believe that...but in the end it's truly not up to us...all we can do is attempt to draw their attention through forums and such.

But yes people will always have the desire to point out how they feel about things...that's just human nature pretty much.
