At the entrence to the old hermit's cave, Hunter whispered. "We gotta be quiet. That old hermit, if he finds us, will go all freaky on us." He chuckled at the thought. "Anyawys, come on." He pressed a hidden rock. making the cave slide open with a little noise. He stepped inside.

Hunter leaps to the old hermit's house (and I guess Wedger flies) and lands without a sound on the hermit's old dirty "yard". "It should be here." Hunter whispers looking around. "Aha!" Up near the old hermit's door, a bright blue crystal was shining. "Darnit. It's right by the old kook's door."

Wedger: of course iam i've trained in stealth ever since i was 10 years old watch *opens the door without making any noise and starts crawling across the ground and grabs the gem then crawls back out* told ya

"Who's out there?" A raspy voice said.
"The hermit. Come on, let's get going."

"Heh heh. Nice." Hunter chuckled, leaping from wall to wall quickly. Behind, he could hear the old hermit fussing at them in the shadows.
"Doom be with you. Dooooom." Hunter shook his head.

Ivy's eyes glistened when she saw the gem. "Oh... I see... "business"." She looked up at him and winked. "Great gift. Go hide it before she notices."
"This way." Hunter said, walking over to a small hut.

Hunter shuts it then walks back to sit around the campfire. "Well, almost time for bed. It's getting pretty late." He notices a bright blinking light fluttering around him and catches it. Then, he opens his hand revealing the small fire-fly.
"Yeah." Ivy yawns. "Looks like Vinna dozed already." In another cheetah's lap, Vinna was happily sleeping. And Cory's still lookin' into the fire. Ivy thought, turning her eyes in Cory's direction. She was right. He was still staring into the fire, the flames dancing on his green eyes.

Appearance: Creamy fur with dark brown face, ears, arms and legs, and tail. Even darker hair that end at her waist. Leaf green fabric draped over one should and tied in the back - similar to Elora's shirt. Leaf green skirt held up by rope at waist. barefoot. Second tallest.
Element (weapon): Spear
Other Info: Parentage unknown - grew up in the wild, rescued Katrina after she became lost. Was the first to speak to Cecile.

Appearance: Bubble-gum pink hair, short, messy, bangs. Yellow-ish beady eyes. Bright green and black shirt, shorts. Shortest.
Element (weapon): No weapon, but useful for her echo-vision (Silverwing reference, whee!) and ability to fly.
Other Info: Was separated from her colony when she was young. Lived in a forest near Katrina and Sade's for a while until they befriended her. Extremely clumsy on land. No one knows how she manages to put clothes on, because her wing membrane runs down almost the whole length of her body.

Appearance: Wispy blonde hair that comes down to shoulders. Light blue shirt with an Electroll (Hurricos) on it. Long body, stubby legs. Shorts. Barefoot. Unusually bushy tail.
Element (weapon): Dagger
Other Info: Met Katrina, Cecile and Sade while they were traveling. A bit over-friendly and hyper at times.

Phew. Ehh... I'll start tomorrow. It's New Years Eve, darn it.

Other Info: His mother died when Dio was young, but Dio has faint memories of his father, who he wants to find. For some reason Dio has no elemental powers. He became an outcast because of this at the dragon school where he was taught. He runs away from those who mock him to find his father.

OOC: Hurr, I'm the only who's using fan characters that aren't dragons.

IC: Over the hills and far away... well, actually in the mountains surrounding the Valley of Avalar, Katrina, Cecile, Sam and Sade where making a journey. To where, no one knows... they just like this kind of stuff.

Sam picked up her backpack. The four friends were not far from reaching the bottom of the mountain, and now they were resting. Cecile was dozing in a tree nearby, and the others were sitting on rocks. Sam turned around and whispered, "Cecile? Cecile! You awake? We need you to go ahead and find a path for us." Cecile stirred.

"Mmmm... wha..? Oh, yeah... yeah... just toss me some fruit, first..." she mumbled. Sam reached into the backpack and tossed her a banana. She caught it with her long, bony thumbs and then began to rip the peel off.

Since Cecile was nocturnal, they traveled by night rather than day and relied on her echo-vision to guide them. However, Cecile had been trying to get used to sleeping during the night, but wasn't having much success, so her sleeping schedule was very messed up. She slept most of the time and normally woke when needed, although she was usually more active during the night.
