A Spyro MMORPG?
I don't yet know how to make the poll work, so I"ll just type out the options.
"If a Legend of Spyro MMORPG was made, would you play it?"
a) yes
b) general (any developer) no
c) "if sierra makes it, then no"
d) maybe
My answer would be d.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
B! It would never ever ever work! Spyro has too much of a storyline for an MMORPG, it would end up as a spyro game, with online players.

I will have to say d. It all depends on who it's made by and stuff.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
It could work.
Any game with a nice recurring cast of characters could make it work. Id like to see it happen though, theyre still working on a star trek mmorpg yet

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
They wont do it. Sierra doesn't put enough effort into their games to make a great MMORPG. Besides, Syro isn't RPG, MMO platformer but not RPG

a mmorpg doesnt need a storyline, only a theme and some story so u can know what the game is about. I think its possible. Just look at the MMORPGs, none of them have a storyline. YOU create your storyline in the game, thats the porpuse of a mmorpg. And a game where u can play as a dragon would be kind of atractive.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
A).
Definitely. Simple reasons:
1 - IT'S SPYRO. How would I be a fan if I didn't follow the series no matter what?
2 - HOLY CHEESE PUFFS, did I mention SPYRO RPG?
3 - Seriously though, it'd be fun PLUS I don't see enough dragon RPG's around.
Oh and Ratchet, I think an MMO-Platformer would actually work for it. I've seen plenty of Platformer/MMORPG mixed games.
Oh god, looking at my old posts on here are absolutely cringeworthy. Hard to believe I made any friends, lol.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
I choose [A], because I'm a Spyro-nut. But they better make a fully customizable dragon. >_>
Something kind of like PSU would work. Where a lot of people meet and chat in a lobby, and every character has a personal room. Someone can form a party of 1-4 or 1-6 people.
Gameplay should not be tampered with, and they shouldn't make things too hard and complicated. To improve your health it's just like in the game
with hidden relics or big red/green.
There should be distinguishly more fashion things to choose from, meaning more styles of armor.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
D - Maybe
It depends on what it's like. If it's more directed at LoS or Kids, then hell no..if it's more for teens+adults or older spyro games, then yes!
Also, take graphics, gameplay and style into consideration. Are we expecting something crappy like RuneScape or something as good as WoW?

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
A MMORPG would be something terrible... even beyond epic fail. Yeah, and i think that sierra lacks the effort what comes to making MMORPGs, and i cant see the idea very successful.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
Jesus Christ, just because you like Spyro, doesn't mean you have to automatically love the idea of a MMORPG.
1) Spyro is just not designed for an RPG look at shadow legacy. It was terrible from what I've heard.
2) Spyro is too linear for MMORPGs. Especially the new ones, but even the old ones had a fairly linear game, just that you could go back easier. Which is now in DOTD I might mention.
3) MMORPGs are terrible if they're completely fighting based. So what, do we have to all become dragon farmers? Or woodcutters? Although hunting as a dragon would be kinda cool.
So just leave it alone!

I agree with that. I cant understand how someone would want to make an MMORPG, a TV series or a movie (oops, someone already is making a movie...) from spyro? Leave spyro as he is. No need to violate him like some other video game characters.
Althought im not a big fan of tlos, i will approve if they continue it (not that it would affect anything). Making a TV series or something just goes WAY too far.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
Depends I guess. I mean if one does come out then the player will create a custom made dragon character and some NPCs in the game will be the Spyro Characters, including Spyro. Other then that, No.

Re: A Spyro MMORPG?
Spyro MMO? It's an interesting theroy - and sounds good in throy, but look at it like this
1) Sierra is to lazy to buckle down and do a good MMO for Spyro (Should dump it on Blizzard Entertainment's doorstep and see what they do, lol)
That's the biggest thing in the way, but a real Spyro MMO would be fun but think of the dedication needed to be involved.
Are we expecting something crappy like RuneScape
Runescape isn't crappy - I would love to hear your reasoning on that, please.
