Okay then who exactly is he lol....what has be become to the point where the books can't even find him or Cynder...unless they have entered some higher plane of existance....even then a page would still be entered for them...I think.

i was speechless when cynder said 'i love you' to spyro (sorry...i had to say it...lol) but i was confused when they were flying around coz i mean what about their friends?, are they just goin' to leave them behind without noticing their still alive? hmmm i wonder....but yeah they will be a couple sooo....Slammin' in the meadow it is!

Well I just figured that they were enjoying themselves for a little while longer until they felt compelled to rejoin their friends once more...but none of us really know...the only thing I have to on is that they were not entered the book of death...so they are still alive in some form.

We will see what happens in the movies...maybe those will answer the question a little better.

I think Spyro and Cynder sort of "became" the world by the super special awesome power of the Purple Dragon.

Well u all have great theories and now its time for mine

ok did anyone notice that the place where they were flying
in the end looked kind of familiar like it was a level in ETD or AHT
I kno this sounds crazy but i believe that spyro got transported somewhere
since it was the duty of the purple dragon says Malefor to destroy and create
a new world and I think spyro did that but as the purple dragon he had to survive
since no one knos wat will happen if the purple dragon generation is interupted so his powers
were so much more powerful than it was in TEN instead of turning himself into a crystal he
was actually powerful enough to transport himself and cynder to another dimension that way
he can live all his days out as a dragon but not alone with his maybe one true love and since
he was not destroyed the cycle of the purple dragon lives on since spyro did not die

thank goodness

and thats wat think since yall took all the good stuff that i thought of at first

Well many other theories like that have also been stated...and yes it is very believable....I just can't really see it happening because Sierra seems very diehard on not involving the older games in just about any way possible.

That and if they want to continue with the story from the LoS series and the characters...how would they effectively do that with Spyro and Cynder seperated away from all the other characters in the series....I mean they could just focus on those two...but that seems a little to disconected for Sierra to attempt.

It is the Valley of Avalor, near the Cheetah's Village. Spyro and Cynder were flying there. You know the place where the Elite Enemy was? Look away from the crystals and you can see the spot where they are flying. I saw it clearly, several days ago.

I don't think so....I just don't see anything that proves it's Avalar...all you see is a slight landscape that does have the same resemblence...but nothing really that proves it's the same place...that and the moon in the sky...but I will have to go back and check it....have not played it in some time.

Theories are all very interesting, and many actually make sense. The problem is that none of us really know what happened; all we know for certain is that they aren't dead. I'm still not exactly sure what happened at the end there myself, I was under the impression that they were somewhere in the centre of the planet but even then I'm not so sure. I do think that they didn't escape because of each other though, I reckon the ancestors had someting to do with it. They stopped Malefor right? So why not transport Spyro and Cynder somewhere safe after Spyro stopped the world from ending? It seems possible...if a little cliched. But I still reckon they're slamming in the meadow, I didn't read all the posts but I believe that's the correct term to use when referring to the pairing now, right?

Anyways....I don't really know because yes as you said we were not given the luxury of seeing just how they survived.....but the Ancestors one still makes sense....I think that the whole "love" one still stands in my mind 0.0...

What description? Cliched? That isn't necessarily a bad thing is it? And unless the love thing is one of Spyro's or Cynder's hidden powers then I'll stick to my ancestors theory. Of course this is all just speculation so I guess it doesn't really matter.

Well personally I just doubt their power to get out of there by themselves. If they couldn't take down Malefor alone and Spyro used up all his energy, or both his and Cynder's as the case may be, how would they have the energy to get themselves to safety. Although I don't think the planet was brought back together completely, it did look like it was just pulled enough together to stop it drifting too far apart. So maybe they simply flew out, I don't know.

Yeah I did notice that as well.....it wasn't fully brought back together in the final shot....so who knows....but in terms of the power they needed. I just think that when Cynder finally admited that to Spyro that he managed to find some kind of power within him to not only save the world without getting killed...but protect them from the impending fury.....but that's just one of the many different reasons.....it would be really nice to know just what happened.....but the awesome developers had to leave that hanging as well...

Because they knew people like us would be discussing it on forums and making their ideas for them. You just know that one of them is sifting through all this, just you wait, a new game will come out with an opening sequence of how they escaped and it'll be almost exactly like one of the theories depicted on this lol.

Ok I just read this and joined today. There is something that has been bugging me about the I love you part. Not that I don't think it's great in all I actually think that they are togethor but the thing that confused me is the fact that Spyro and Cinder are brother and Sister, that was said in the Eternal Night. So could someone please make this clearer. Is it true that maybe they are not bro/sis.

Now there is something else I want to say. Now They way that most games go is that when someone hooks up with the Hero One of five things happen if they make a sequel (this is based on the shows I watch)

One: the couple break up some where in between the movies/games, like take National Treasure 2 and Indiana Jones. They may get back with them in the end though.

Two: The Hero is in the Sequel while the GirlFriend/boyfriend stays at home or whatever. or the hero must rescue his/her girlfriend/boyfriend For Example Spyro will go on the next Adventure while cynder doesnot or Spyro has to save Cynder

Three: they will basically stay as friends or something like that and they just Hint that something is going on or somthing went on between them.

Four: the girlfriend/boyfriend dies

five: they both go on the adventure but they draw away from each other as the adventure goes on.

I beleive if they make a sequel one of those five will happen.

I do think they are a couple now. but then agian it's possible they stay friends and don't hook up just then. basically what I was trying to say in my third point.
oh and by the way I actually like the remake but then I only played the Season of Ice and I played Enter the dragonfly but it glitched. I think the melee attack in dotd was too slow through and I think the dotd was to short compared to the other two games in los. a nother thing I plan I making a Game based on what happens next in the spyro series it is part of my Sonic Quest idea the second in the bunch( i think) I'm working on the first game in Sonic Quest. Sorry for getting off subject there for a sec.
PS there was a girl that was in the series I'm not sure how popular she was but maybe they'll add he if they make a sequel. she was Bianca the Sorceress. and do you think they'll put Grendor in the sequel?

They definately aren't Brother and Sister. They're from the same brood of eggs, but not the same parentage. A brood can mean the children of a family but it can also mean memebers of a species or a group that shares an origin, i.e. dragon origin. The developers have said they are not Brother and Sister, do you really think they would have got them together in a game geared towards children if they were?
And if I was honest I dont think there would be a direct sequel to TLoS series, it just doesnt seem like it's necessary what with the difinitive ending they gave DotD, there's nothng else that needs to be coverered.
