I don't want it to be in 3-D. I think that is a horrible idea....but that's just me.

If a movie becomes 3-D it's because the producers can't be bothered to make a good storyline so they think, "Hey guys our movie sucks, so how 'bout we use 3-D!" "Great idea! Then kids will flock to the cinemas like the idiots they are." "Let's have a pizza party!"

Well at least Wall-e was a good movie....it would have been awesome regardles....I don't see that for Spyro.

like said aceedwin, when a movie or game comes to have a bed storyline, they need to appeal to visual... BUT, there are always exceptions.... Sometimes, when a movie/game does have a good potencial, they need to make a good work, or it would be a waste...
i really hope spyro is like second alternative.... o_O but i doubt it...

Yeah, 3-D would just prove that because they lack in storyline, they just try to enchance it visually... hoping people will like it.

And the movie can be good if they truly commit to making it good...not just half trying....but that's in their ballpark.

The movie being just a compilation of cutscenes from the trilogy just doesn't make sense. I doubt it. That'd be the cheapest way to make a Spyro film.

Well we can only hope that it doesn't turn out that way, but seriously, why the heck would they make an entire movie out of cutscenes? That would just be a complete and utter mess....don't know if I have ever seen movies that bad..oh wait.....nevermind....

i dont think sierra is a mess, its done well i think with spyro, ok ETD is an exception but the rest are fine, but i think another company is doing the film so we can't blame sierra realy i guess.

Are you serious? You even considering that it could only have cutscenes from the movie? Sure, i think it might share same locations and camera angles from the game. I wouldnt even call it a movie if it would only be the cutscenes.

(btw im not fanboying the movie, im just saying some facts. i think it will suck too)

Thats as similar to the games apart from the storyline slightly, will get to the game the film will, i however have hopes for the film as it will be the first and i won't judge it until i see it.

I also wont judge the movie until i see it. I still highly doubt it will be "good" (tlos fans are going to approve it anyway so i dont mean if 75% of the members will call me a dumb *bleep* if they think its "good")

Well I for one wasn't insinuating that's what they would do. If they did do it for some completely idiotic reason then that just stands testement to how much they really care about the well being of the character. No point in it and it would just be a complete and utter disgrace.....and I have seen some screwed up movies but I truly don't think they are that dumb. So no...it's not going to happen.

We can only hope. It's a pretty basic story they should be able to add onto it actually rather then take things away from it. That's the only reason why I'm looking forward to it.
