Re: He's in the Universal Studios
No, we were talking about The Back to the Future when the dinosaurs come up close, along with the volcano, I like dinosaurs so my brother tried to make look at the screen, I watched some of it, but I felt like I was gonna to fall off.
But the Jurrasic park ride was fun too. I was waiting for the big drop, but that big dino head scared the bujibas out of me.
Ah Everythings back to normal.

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
For some reason I'm a little afraid of dinosaurs yet feel no fear towards dragons. "And how does that make you feel?"
Shatter my dreams, my heart, and my body, but you will never shatter my hope for a new beginning.

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
No shame in that im afraid [morbidly] of spiders and I can study them it all depends on the poshion that you are in at the time...also dragons are NOT dinosaurs...only 1 dinosaur can fly and none can breath fire.

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
Originally, a few hundred years back, the word "dinosaur" didn't exist. Before then, dinosaurs were known as dragons. Dragon and dinosaur mean the same thing.

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
Dinosaur fossils were only discovered a few hundred years ago, I think. That's why the words "dragon" and "dinosaur" meant the same thing back then: people knew about dragons, but not dinosaurs.
Wow, how much more off-topic could we get?

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
They mean the same thing until people decided that dragons were mythical. The thing is, though, that saying dragons are mythical is like saying dinosaurs are mythical as well. But we know today that they existed.

Re: He's in the Universal Studios
dinosaur comes from two latin words meaning "terrible lizard". And some people refer to dragons as that. So maybe that's why.

Hmmm... I'm not sure if I believe that. People have known dragons were mythical for a while, probably long before dinosaurs were discovered.
But you are right, Brom the Wise, back on topic.

The words are greek
only 1 dinosaur can fly and none can breath fire.
There is no such thing as a flying dinosaur. The Pterodactyl (pterosauria) and the immense numbers of dinosaur species (dinosauria) are not the same thing. Pterodactyls are just flying reptiles.
...Oops, forgot to check the date...

With a contrary wind, the dragon flies higher.
Thanks SpyroGirl101 for the banner! Chee Chee, thanks for the other banner, even though I didn't use it!
