This sounds like some sort of half-a-second idea created by you.

Ember was a character that had ALL OF TWO cutscenes and then disappeared for the rest of the game, the only character who had LESS screen time was Flame.

Ember is also an Amy Rose ripoff, who was annoying enough until she got her dragon-form, but thank god she lost the giant hammer than no living 12 year old humanoid could possibly lift.
