Well seeing in in 2-D animation would have been interesting......but I'm pretty sure they are set on the whole 3-D experience.....which is something I'm really not looking forward to.

Well that war has been waged ever since the PIXAR movement lol....and I don't really see it ending....though I do like an original 2-D once in awhile to break the chain.

I doubt 2-D will make a comeback really, but it has gone sort of ok with cartoons into films, e,g simpsons i dunno what other ones there are

2-D will not die....but it will never be as popular on the big screen as it was. Companies like PIXAR helped with the breakthrough.....allowing the 3-D experience to show just how much more amazing it was then 2-D if mixed with a good story....but I don't really care so long as their is a good story involved.

No, i dont think it will be cutscenes, however i do think some parts of the film will look similar to the cutscences we see in the game.

Ah fair point, i didnt think that through. But its not alwyas the case, they might of made a scene look different as there is no gameplay to worry about.

Yes they can alter it but they will not change the scene around completely. They will always take their own liberties when it comes to making an adaption of something...be it movie or game...hence why they usually screw it up because they try to tell the story from their own point of view.

It will be challenging for them to recreate some part of the game i think, e.g convexity, elemental furies and also cynders fortress. As they would have to get it in the same sort of style as the game otherwise it wouldnt be recognised.

I watched all the Cutscenes of Dawn of the Dragon on youtube and it only lasted for about 30 minutes.
Why the hell would anyone want a movie like that???

I think that the movie will be mostly based on the cutscreens with some extra stuff added, i have seen how seriously people make movies these days.
