Re: spyros kid
When did I apologize?
I said his idea was dumb. I was in no way insulting him as a person, I just think that idea was not very good.

Re: spyros kid
If you get hurt my someone saying that you should work at Mcdonalds, then wake up. There are much worse things that can be said and when connor goes to middle school or high school i can garente him that he will hear it all.

Re: spyros kid
Gah...I seriously hate this...
Listen guys, I'm not a admin and I'm sorry for doing this, but could you guys just give it a rest already? I mean...alright, Connor had a idea, and some of you guys just rejected it just like that! Hey, he's only a kid, lay off with all the negative stuff, let him talk, he's only 12 for Bahamut's sakes!
Connor, I will say the idea is a bit odd, but I won't say anything insulting. It would make sense that Spyro may have children in the future, but Spyro's still a kid, so it wouldn't be possible at the moment. I do say the part about Spyro dying was a...well...a bit extreme, but all things live and die, so...it maybe possible in a long future from now. It's not entirely a bad idea, but it's best not to be used for a long time from now or something...
Spyrorocks, sorry for saying this, but I am disappointed on what you said, and you're admin of this forum. Seriously...
"Lets hope connor never works for any large video game producing company."
Now that's just harsh. Maybe it's a goal of his in the future. He's only 12 years old, and he has a imagination, and I'm pretty sure he has the right to use it as much as you do. Alright, he said that when Spyro has a kid, Spyro will die and his kid will take over. He's not insulting the Spyro Fandom, so what's the big deal? That's HIS idea. If you wanted to say something, critque him in a nice manner, not go and say something so rude!
I'm sorry once again if this cause any problems, but I think it needed to be said, and this is all I'm going to say. Once again, I apologize SR and Conner for typing all this.

Re: spyros kid
He is 12, I am 13. Not much of a difference, eh? If you are going to type something, then apologies for it in the same post, why didn't you just not type it at all?
hey spyrorocks you are really stuck up

Re: spyros kid
Let me put my tewo cents in...Connot has the right to express his opinion.. and we should encourage such opinion, heck one of us coulf come up with the next great storyline for a Spyro gamne... Now, As for him having a kid, it very well could happen at some point in the future, imo the new story arc makes it more likely that he will have kids at some point, than the original storyline...
As for your ages I'm almost as old as connor and spyrorocks combined. I'm 24.. SR, Let me give you a piece oif advice from one site admin to another...you can't let your personal opinion run roughshod over the opinions of others, you can't say hurtful things about others and then run behind your authority as admin, it doesn't work that way. Once you get into an argument with someone, you lose the authority to mediate and resolve that argument, it is left to other admins and mods to resolve it. It should be resolved privately via pms, and whatever decision is made privately, should remain that way.
Now,connor, telling the admin that he is 'stuck up" in not a good idea. Most admins do not like being told that they are stuck up. You should apologize to Spyrorocks, and spyrorocks you should apologize as well.

Re: spyros kid
Now, If I get into a argument in a public thread, then I have every right to defend myself, as he has the right to express his opinion, I have the right to criticize it.
I do not go run behind my admin wall of funness. I will defend my comments to best best of my ability, and I can be very stubborn and ignorant as well.

You do have a right to critisize it, but not in such a rude way. Don't tell him his ideas are stupid, (which they most certainly are not) tell him you don't agree.
I've lost track of how many times I've told you you're arrogant. Now you're taking it like a compliment. "Admin wall of funness"... XDDD

Re: spyros kid
That is true Spyrorocks, but being stubborn and ignorant are not qualities I'd want, personally, in an administrator of any site I manage. While both are natural human traits, they are not appealing ones. an administrator leads by example spyrorocks, that is what I do on the board i administer. I critique, but I do not criticize, I state my view, and do so in a fair and even-handed manner, when I do take people to task, I give reasons for why I'm doing it.. I have seen forums be destroyed because the admin let his personal biases and judgement ran rampant over the view of the board.
