Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Saying that his personality wouldn't be a good one, isn't exactly fair judgement

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Ah, but I didnt say that. I was suggesting that there would be far more dragons only interested in his fame than there would be in his personality, which when you think about it, would probably be true.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
I'm sure you would lol which is why Malefor is a vital part of the story, he stops Spyro from going down a path of mischief and potentially...EVIL!!!

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Well that was a well thought out discussion haha...I pretty much agree that without Malefor in the story Spyro would have pretty much been pushed by nobody his entire life and in the end without turmoil pulling at him from one end of the spectrum things would not have panned out so well for him.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
i would say that it is weak because it wasnt followed well after such a confession from cynder. there should have been more dialogue. But, it would be a strong cliffhanger ending, which i believe it likely to be.
The Legend of Spyro and Cynder will continue.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Yeah I'm pretty sure they designed it with that intention in mind. I got more the feeling of a cliffhanger rather then a complete ending. Then again Sierra could suck so much that was the complete end in their mind...(even though we know it isn't)

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Hence why without Malefor this whole thing would have been impossible, and heck Malefor is just misunderstood. He rushed into being bad too quickly instead of capitalizing on what he had.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Exactly. He was rushed into things by his masters. They pressured him, taught him things that he wasn't ready for. If they had taught him about when to use his powers and the potential for good he held within him before filling him with untold power then he might have turned out to be the dragon of prophecy after all.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Maybe, maybe not. We shall never truly know just what happened in Malefor's upbringing. If he was pushed to his limits before he was ready and simply snapped under the unbearable pressures place upon his mind and body through his abilities. Simply going the easy way in doing what he pleased instead of what others expected him to do. That is certainly an interesting aspect that I would like to explore someday.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
Yes they will. Before DotD was released they let us know that if it met with a relative deal of success then they would def be continuing the story and such. That and they seemed keen on building upon the story they set in motion.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
I'm pretty sure that problem has been resolved now so we can stay on the topic of the ending...which wasn't bad.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
You're just so negative aren't you, Catabatus lol. Just accept it for what it is, it made enough sense to be passable, its not like Superman jumped in and saved the day.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
I don't have to like it if I don't wish to. I say they could have done a much better job.

Re: Ending for TLoS Dawn of the dragon
I never said you didn't have to like it, but you didn't really do it tactfully; it seemed more like you were ridculing it as being completely senseless rather than having some room for improvement, which I do agree with, some parts could have been done better, if only by adding a little bit of explanation.
