Arus growled and stepped in front of the wounded dragon. "This is gonna be harder then I thought. The large dragon then called the energies deep within him; summoning a large black shield of pure energy. It would serve as temporary protection until he could think of a good strategy.

A dark chuckle escaped Krucifi as he walked through the barrier. "Hello." He said in a mock-pleasant way.

Arus knew that shadow could be defeated by shadow, but he figured that the enemy might take a little longer to figure it out. Arus lowered the shield and stood in front of Zyrnoth. "Ok ugly.....you want him you're gonna have to go through me to get him!" shouted Arus as he extended his wings; ready to use whatever strength he had to defeat the shadow wolf.

Arus quickly fell to his back and rammed his lower legs into Krucifi's stomach; propelling him up into the air before leaping towards him with his claws ready to strike.

Krucifi was knocked backwards, but was otherwise unfazed. Instead, he laughed as he faded into the shadows.

Arus reached out with his own powers. At least one advantage to being who he was....he also could manipulate the powers of shadow to fight his enemies. He kept his power focused on the signal Krucifi put out. Within seconds he was barely able to react as the wolf leapt from the shadows unexpectedly.

Krucifi missed on purpose before fading again. However, this time he appeared behind Arus and slashed rapidly at his back before fading again and appearing on the top of a building, in which he shot a large ball of darkness at him.

Arus ignored the stinging claw marks on his back as he jumped forward. The black dragon began flying at the shadowball full speed. Several meters away from his target, he started spinning his body in a rapidly. He felt his body come into contact with the energy, and when he reached the middle of the ball he extended his body and spread his own energy; causing the ball to disperse into several directions.

However, during the course of that, Krucifi was already seconds away from him, as he had jumped after firing the ball.

Arus was surprised at the large amount of speed; but was just able to put some distance from him and the crazed wolf with a costly amount of energy for a shadow teleportation. Arus fell to one knee, there was no way he was going to be able to pull that off again.

As Krucifi was about to land, Zyrnoth shot a stream of water at Krucifi, hitting him and sending him into a wall closeby. When Krucifi emerged, his scar was glowing iwth an off-and-on red color.

Krucifi, having bene stunned, had no time to react as his scar was hit, causing him to cough up blood as he sprawled to the ground. However, he was up in seconds and disappeared as a burning dark-red flame started to spread everywhere. Zyrnoth, however, was incapacitated.

"These are shadowflames! They won't go out as easy as regular fire! You have to find the source!" Zyrnoth shouted to Arus as he made a feeble attempt to stand.

Arus moved up to a nearby building. "Just say here kid....we'll take care of your friend here. Try to get some rest." The dragon then took off back towards Krucifi's position. "Petalance! You're up!"

"Strike the flames digging into the ground! They won't burn you!" Zyrnoth shouted to her. Indeed, Krucifi was floating into the air and was surrounded by a black ball of darkness in which shadowflame dug into the ground from.

Needing no second bidding Petalance dove into the ground, digging as she went. The ground was soft here, so she could dig without fear of being hurt again, she was about six feet under by the time the dust cleared. She used her earth sense to try and detect where the soure of the shadowflame was, though she didn't know specifically what she was looking for.

(Basically, there is chain-like flames coming from Krucifi and striking the ground, making the area build up with Shadowflame)

Petalance could only just sense Krucifi above the ground, because she could only really sense things that were on the ground or in it. What she could sense though were the few spots where Krucifi's shadowflame were striking the ground, she dug so that she was just underneath them. But she paused. What the hell was she suppossed to do now? She got an idea, though whether it would work or not was another matter. She dug as close underneath the shadowflame as she dared, she knew Zyrnoth had said that it wouldn't burn her, but she still didn't quite dare. She then moved onto each of the other spots where the shadowflame's touched, doing the same thing. This process took about thirty seconds, when she was done she surfaced and shouted to Arus:

"Attack Krucifi, shoot him or throw something at him, don't actually touch him. Be ready to run!"

With that Petalance jumped into the air, at the top of her jump she fired an earth bullet at Krucifi before landing hard on the ground. The impact made her feet sink into the ground and it fractured around her, it also sent a ripple through the ground as she used her earth powers nearly to their full extent. The ruined houses around her shook violently and crumbled to the ground. Where she had dug under the shadowflames where they first touched the ground the earth was unstable. It collapsed and the dirt caved in on top, though whether it extingushed the shadowflames or not she had no idea. Hoping that the environment caving immediately around him was a good enough distraction to Krucifi, Petalance started to run towards where the barrier was, hoping it was down.

The barrier, however, was not down as Krucifi was still up. Slowly decending to the ground, he ran at Petalance, his scar glowing.

Lance listened to peletance, thinking through what was to happen, and consequences of certain actions. "oh, what the hel-" He ran o place himself between peletance and the wolf 'Kruicifi', again noting the position of the scar.

Arus looked at the dragon before pointing out the situation. "You're in the perfect position Lance! Strike at that scar before it stops glowing!!"

"One shot? Done!" Lance shouted, inhaling deeply as he prepared his ice shot. Freezing the water in the air, he fired a large ball of ice straight at the wolf's scar. As a fail safe, he ran forward behind the shot to strike Krucifi if it missed.
