Weird cintroller glitch
Something really strange happened to me when I was playing Spyro 1 at my Gran's (People who go on Dark Spyro will know this topic). Ok, when I booted up the game I ended up at the peir at the start of Peace Keepers and Spyro suddenly ran to the left and jumped off the peir like he was commiting suicide or something and I wasn't even touching the controller! I even tried pausing the game but Spyro still did the same thing so I had to reset my Playstation and the game was fine after that. Weird huh?

When that happens, unplug your controller and plug it back in again. Works every time.

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
its not a glitch its a sign of your controller having bad joints on the analog (or the D-pad) i had that on my xbox controllers

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
All controllers do it; it's not that weird. I think every single controller I've owned has done that.

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
Yeah, I have a wireless PS1/PS2 that does that as well. Aperently it doesn't transmit the signal as quickly and it takes a couple of seconds before your charater even does anything! lol!
I don't care how it looks but how it functions

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
This reminds me of all N64 Game Instruction Books which state that you should never hold the joystick away from it's neutral position when powering up. It confuses the system...

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
Really? My DS never does it that much. You must either need a new DS or not be careful enough with the one you have

Re: Weird cintroller glitch
Pyro girl, that happens to me all the time because my controller is stuffed. Usually if i restart the game or unplug the controller then plug it back in, it will start working again.
