Is It worth It?

We heard it once and once again will here it again is it worth buying the new spyro game?Or is it just going to be a load of crap ?When i first saw sierra say there going to reboot the series i thought they were crazy!Whats goind to happen to agent9,sheila,moneybags,hunter etc insted were going to have this game thats not worth playing nor buying some people might agree with me some may say they like the new changes but is it worth it?

depends if you are a spyro fan or not.if you are a true fan, then you would buy any of his games and stick with him.

"Babyish"? OK... come on. You must be talking about AHT. Have you even played the Insomniac ones? T_T

I liked the old games a lot better. Sierra thinks they have to reset the whole series because of a few failed games. Why do they have to get rid of all the old characters and start over with a load of moves like "aerial melee" and "elemental fury"? Everyone I talk to thinks classic games like the old Spyro are boring because they don't have any nerdy elemental attacks. It's just plain stupid if you ask me. They could have just started over where Insomniac left off instead of rebooting a series that had a lot going for it already. ANB was fine, but to call it Spyro would not be right.

I wholey agree with Blueflame. The older ones, particularly Year of the Dragon did not lack in any field. They were fun, had different enemies, replayability, non-linear paths, portals....way too much more than the new ones have. All the new ones have that make them playable at are are modern graphics, voice talent and music. But, if you ask me, Stewart Copeland's music beats the new stuff any day.

I am a true spyro fan but im not going to spend my money on a game that is well not worth it(i would like the old spyro back). i agree with blueflame loneknight!

Keh, been said before I stated it. Same case here, AHT and ANB are as of far my favorite, the third being YotD.

I really liked ANB but I think it would be easier to get used to if you were just starting to play Spyro games at that point. smile hmm Mixed opinion. The old ones have a lot going for them too.

to be honest the insomniac games were the same over and over again with ANB it finally changed if spyro was still with in somniac it would be the same gameplay over and over again so why evereyone believes that spyro going back to insomniac is a good idea needs to step beck and look at what they are saying

sorry but insomniac would keep the same old gameplay routine

I agree. The ANB was very good with all the new characters introduced. And the newly introduced cynder who is a dragoness. How many female dragons do u see in any of the isomniac spyro games? I can't think if any.......

the only female thing i can remember in the insomniac series is the sorceress but with the newer games cynder and ember where bought it the only female and cute dragons there smile so im waiting to see what happens Legend Of Spyro The Eternal Night

Well, I think that Insomniac did a great job with the Spyro games. Look at Gateway to Glimmer/Ripto's Rage! Also, Year of the Dragon. Those games always had something new in them. Does it really matter how many female dragons you may see? The other games are good, but Insomniac is where its at.. *Does a backflip*

It's not the Dragonesses...It's the style of gameplay. Insomniac, good chance, would or might keep the same style, y'know: jumping, flaming, etc...They might not change it up too much, which could get very repetitive to do the same thing every single game.

VU (Or whoever) games may bite to some, but to others are good, basically cause they change it around, like giving Spyro more breath attacks, more attacks, new characters, etc...We respect everyone's opinion if you pefer the old school Spyro, just do the same for the ones who pefer the newer ones. In my opinion, they did good, but not the best. VU did some great ideas too, so, it doesn't matter, but I pefer the newer Spyro (Enter the Dragon+), they seem better.
